  1. Nicely done, I really dig that color!
  2. Nice job on the weathering, that looks great!
  3. Thanks to all! I hadn't, but once you'd mentioned it I looked back at the original art and now see the color. Nice!
  4. Thanks, guys! Yup, I've seen pics of that one. It's especially fun when they can get it, the Supernatural Impala, and the Ecto-1 all together.
  5. Inspired by the art of Travis Pitts, this started out as a gluebomb Little Red Wagon and Jimmy Flintstone A-100 Panel Van. It's since been converted to a post-apocalyptic monster hunter complete with mounted chainsaws, melee and ranged weapons gathered from across the pop culture spectrum, and the requisite lighting, armor plating, and supplies. Velma was made from an Atelier iT figure, while Scooby is a vinyl Great Dane that looked pretty close to the correct size. A full writeup of what went into the build is available here: http://spencer1984.com/my_models/misery-machine.php As always, any comments/criticisms are welcome!
  6. Sharp looking Bentley, I've considered this kit a few times but never pulled the trigger on it. Nicely done!
  7. Very clean work, that looks fantastic!

Impressive work, the blending is better than I would have thought possible.
  9. Looks good, nice work!
  10. Cool piece, that looks great!
  11. Great job on this, Honey West's Cobra is one on my "to do" list as well.
  12. Very nicely done, and a great collection of Fords you've got there!
  13. Very cool, I always liked the look of this kit and your model is a great representative of it!
  14. Thanks, guys - looking forward to seeing your build, Alan!
  15. I don't think I'd have noticed the different bezels unless you pointed them out, and the blue looks pretty good in these pics. It strikes me as the kind of thing I'd see at the local cruise-ins, a 99% complete restoration that the owner couldn't wait to get back on the road with. Nice job on the save!
  16. I tried there, but unfortunately the closest is some slightly older models of Mitsubishi and Hino trucks. Either could provide a possible base for a transkit, but it still leaves the cab as the sticking point.
  17. Sold variously as the Isuzu Elf, Chevrolet/GMC W Series, Nissan Atlas, and Mazda Titan, I know Aoshima produced this kit in 1/32 a few years back: No styrene kit or diecast was ever made in 1/24 that I know of, so my next best hope is a resin transkit, cab, or even full garage kit. Any ideas?
  18. Awesome, thanks Gene!
  19. Wow, good looking kit and nice build! I hadn't realized they did any of the Cars characters in a more detailed version than the "Jr." line.
  20. Awesome job on this! Is the fan a scratchbuilt piece or did you find that somewhere?
  21. Nicely done!
