  5. Nicely done!
  6. In the early 2000s, Fujimi released several kits as licensed tie-ins with special resin figures of characters from the series. Among those was the manga Over Rev!, and this repop of their MR2 kit. I opened the engine cover and added some basic wiring, front brakes, and license plates...otherwise it's pretty much a straight out of the box build. The included Shino Ryoko figure is still waiting to be painted.
  7. Awesome job, that looks great!
  8. Very clean work, that turned out great!
  9. This year I've been working on models of stuff from books, comics, and other static art pieces. One day working at the bench, the mind went wandering in search of more project ideas and came back with one of my favorite series from when I was a kid: The Mouse and the Motorcycle. I figured a 1/18 motorcycle would be about the right size, then I scaled that down so it would fit with my other 1/24 scale models. That makes it about 1/430 scale, a little under a quarter inch long. There was nothing even close to what I wanted out there, so I scratch built this from bits of plastic and wire:

  12. Nicely done! I remember seeing one of these for the first time in person at a car show around 1992/3, it was an impressive ride then and still looks good now.
  13. Nicely done! I never could quite figure out where the interior bits were supposed to be located.
  14. Nicely done, I like that color!
  15. Awesome work! I'd like to be able to do one of these myself some day.

Right, I had forgotten about that. And because I'm a huge nerd, I did: at $35/oz, $1M should be 28,571 oz...convert Troy ounces to pounds, and you've added something like 1,959 pounds to the load. All combined, that's like dropping an M1113 ECV in the back of a Ranchero...

It always impressed me how that Falcon Ranchero could take the full 2½+ tons of Lincoln Continental being dropped in it and drive off with barely a wobble
  23. Good looking collection!
