Cool. You’ll be able to print full bodies with that one. My Mars 5 Ultra is good for now. Really wanted one to print parts so it’s working out nice for that. Maybe some day I’ll trade up.

I’ve been printing parts for the LS3 when I have time. Between being busy with family and work and learning how to use Blender and Meshmixer it’s been slow going but it’s coming along.

Reprinted as per Mattilackens recommendation and looks much better. Thank you Anton. Also printed a low rise intake manifold.

Hi Anton Never received your message so I sent you one. Let me know if you get it.

Thank you. Sure I’d be glad to trade you the files I made for yours if you like. Never traded files before on a forum so let me know what we need to do. As for the engine I didn’t scale it correctly. Now that’s a big block! 😁 Being my first print I sort of expected it. I’m going to have to scale it down and reprint it. Don’t really know what I’m doing so it’s going to be trial and error. No biggie. I guess that’s the good thing about having a printer. If a part is wrong or lost you just reprint it right?

Well I got the printer from Santa. I must have been good because he gave me a Mars 5 Ultra printer and a Mercury Plus 3.0 wash and cure station. 😁 I downloaded a bunch of free software and files and got to it. Managed to print out an LS3. Still have to print the pulleys and accessories. Pretty happy with the results so far.

Phenomenal build Steve. The realism and attention to detail is inspiring.

Very clean build. Paint and foil work looks great. -

Fantastic build. That flip flop is to die for. Love it. -
Cool builds all but you guys all left out the most important detail. A bullseye on the rearend.

Thank you. Absolutely about the engine. I like that. Where do I send the check;) Thank you. Yeah I think I’m going to have to print a set of shorties too. The kit has long tube headers that definitely hang down too low.

Installed the glass and rear bumper. I was going to use one of the carbureted spare engines I have left over from my TLB 55 Chevy kit bash but decided this beast deserves a modern LS. Santa might be bringing me a 3D printer so I’m going to wait and try that as my first project.

Primed and painted the body. I used the Mr. Surfacer pink primer that i bought for my Diamonds are Forever Mach 1. I really liked the way it went down so I figured I’d use again. Didn’t know if it would give the black a cherry tint but it came out fine. Black is Tamiya Matte Black decanted and airbrushed. Thanks for looking

Cool Daddy-O!

That is one sweet deuce. The paint looks amazing and the interior came out fantastic. It’s a shame you can’t see it.

Sharp looking Mach 1. I love that color combination and you did an excellent job with it. Great collection too.

Finished and posted Under Glass

Finished up my Diamonds ar Forever Mach1. This was a very nice kit as most here know. Only issue is I wasn’t happy with the decals. They didn’t have the black circles for the hubcaps and some cut off some of the lettering. Also some of the engine compartment labels are not visible. Especially the decals on the battery. Other than that it was a very nice kit. I really have to work on my wetsanding and polishing. I’m afraid I’m going to sand through the clear and color coats so I didn’t get the finish as smooth as I would have liked. WIP here: Thanks for looking.

Nice but I think I’m going to go with gloss black.
