Got the dual chambered exhaust installed. Also printed a driveshaft with U joints. Wrapped it in a carbon fiber deacl sheet.

Thanks all! Red air filter it is. Also matches the seat belts. I’ve been working on the exhaust system. Printing and reprinting. I wanted to use an “H” pipe but I couldn’t get the clearance with the lowered ride height. Going with individual pipes with chambered mufflers dumping in front of the rear wheels. Pics of the system with the crossover pipe. Not the one I’m going to use but it gives you an idea.

Looks real good. If you can keep that stance when you build the suspension it’s going to be killer

Cool. I’ll be following. I just got into printing myself. Only been doing parts like engines and such but I’d like to try a complete kit. Resione G217 and Nova 3D High Clear water washable Resin seem to have good reviews. Looking forward how this goes for you. Good Luck!

Thanks. Thank you. Taking a while to get there but soon.

Coming along nice. How are you going to handle the glass? Print a mold and vacuum form or clear resin?

Hello Dave. Sent you a message about merging two profiles I have. Hopefully you can do it. Thank You Nick

Thank you for the compliment and the throttle body. It’s the one I got from you Anton. 😁 I opened the bore and added the butterfly.

Cool. You’ll be able to print full bodies with that one. My Mars 5 Ultra is good for now. Really wanted one to print parts so it’s working out nice for that. Maybe some day I’ll trade up.

I’ve been printing parts for the LS3 when I have time. Between being busy with family and work and learning how to use Blender and Meshmixer it’s been slow going but it’s coming along.

Reprinted as per Mattilackens recommendation and looks much better. Thank you Anton. Also printed a low rise intake manifold.

Hi Anton Never received your message so I sent you one. Let me know if you get it.

Thank you. Sure I’d be glad to trade you the files I made for yours if you like. Never traded files before on a forum so let me know what we need to do. As for the engine I didn’t scale it correctly. Now that’s a big block! 😁 Being my first print I sort of expected it. I’m going to have to scale it down and reprint it. Don’t really know what I’m doing so it’s going to be trial and error. No biggie. I guess that’s the good thing about having a printer. If a part is wrong or lost you just reprint it right?

Well I got the printer from Santa. I must have been good because he gave me a Mars 5 Ultra printer and a Mercury Plus 3.0 wash and cure station. 😁 I downloaded a bunch of free software and files and got to it. Managed to print out an LS3. Still have to print the pulleys and accessories. Pretty happy with the results so far.

Phenomenal build Steve. The realism and attention to detail is inspiring.

Fantastic build. That flip flop is to die for. Love it. -
Cool builds all but you guys all left out the most important detail. A bullseye on the rearend.

Thank you. Absolutely about the engine. I like that. Where do I send the check;) Thank you. Yeah I think I’m going to have to print a set of shorties too. The kit has long tube headers that definitely hang down too low.

Installed the glass and rear bumper. I was going to use one of the carbureted spare engines I have left over from my TLB 55 Chevy kit bash but decided this beast deserves a modern LS. Santa might be bringing me a 3D printer so I’m going to wait and try that as my first project.
