  1. I've been after a U.S W.W.2 Jeep for a while, I had been toying with the idea of getting the Italeri version, but word has it that the Hasegawa version is a little more accurate, so I managed to get this off ebay for the same price as the Italeri version, hopefully should get it this week ....
  2. Looking real good, this one os on my want's list ....
  3. Got a little more done on the Stutz, fitted the engine and exhaust system and started to polish out the paint Bonnet and fuel tank haven't been glued in place, just there to show the progress .....
  4. You are one very talented modeller, superb work, looking forward to seeing this one finished ...
  5. R.R.P over here is £17.99, I have mine on pre-order and got a 10% discount, I've built 6 of the Tamiya Mini's including the one I converted to a basic Mini 850, but I'm looking forward to seeing what the Revell version builds like
  6. I'd seen this a few days ago on the Revell site, but thanks for sharing them, I have one of these on Pre order, already got the paint for it !
  7. Superb build, love the colour and the shine you've got on it .....
  8. I will have to get one of these, painting all the wood is going to be tricky job, but worth having a go at it ...
  9. Superb build, love the body colour and interior combo, good to hear it's a good kit to build, as I have the Hasegawa 328 GTB to build
  10. Thanks ... I was thinking that perhaps the pinstripe might be done to match the seat colour,
  11. After thinking all night why my paint finish didn't come up to scratch, I thought I might have left the wrong needle set up in the airbrush, but checking this morning, it wasn't, anyway it was all flatted down last night and washed in warm soapy water and left to dry, go on with it this morning, and after a little bit of playing around thinning the paint a little, I got a much better finish, it will need to dry out for a few days before I crack on with the polishing ....
  12. Did a little work on the engine today, I'm not going to go overboard on the detail, I was going to polish out the body today, but I wasn't happy with the finish, so it's been flatted down ready for a respray tomorrow ....
  13. I built this kit many years ago, and had exactly the same problem, never did figure it out ....

    Chrysler 300

Stunning build, flawless paintwork, this wasn't on my list of models to buy, but now it is !!
  15. I can see what you mean, I'm not sure if it's the box art, but it does look a bit out compared to the original, I will see if I can shave off some plastic on the underside of the body before the chassis gets fixed, the Stutz I'm building has slightly higher suspension than the two photo's posted earlier in this post.
  16. Got a few of the smaller parts detailed today, the dash was first sprayed using Tamiya desert sand, then dry brushed with Tamiya bronze, then coated with Tamiya clear orange, the steering wheel was done the same way ... The seats got a coat of artists satin varnish
  17. Nice little car, and a blast from the past, looking forward to seeing more of this build
  18. There was a t.v programme over here on the Tata factory, the nano won't meet EU regulations, so it won't be sold here ....
  19. Great build, I bought this kit when it was first released, sadly I sold it on
  20. Very nice, love that colour, would love to see a photo taken with a realistic background
  21. Superb build, if it's anything like the '68 Charger I built, it's not the easiest kit in the world to build, but you've done a great job on this one ...
  22. Warm it up using a hot hairdryer or heatgun, then put a heavy weight on top, a few good size books should do the trick and leave overnight,
  23. I used Createx paints and find them very good when thinned properly, however they dry flat and need clear coating to bring out the shine, Zero are indeed based here in the u.k and are airbrush ready auto lacquer, so will eat into styrene if their primed beforehand, you might want to try Tamiya acrylics, as they are safer on plastic and much easier to work with, especially as your just getting into airbrushing ...
  24. Superb work, loving those wheels ...
  25. If you could find out, I would like to find out what colour the trim colour is on the front and rear wings and bonnet, I really can't make it out on the photo's I have
