  1. I too love that colour combo! It is really looking great.?
  2. Hint of Tint is a brand of lip balm.
  3. Happy New Year Everyone! Thank you all, it has been fun and educational being a part of this community. Best of luck and health to you and your loved ones in the New Year! Greg.
  4. Rules are going to be broken from time to time I suppose, although it shouldn’t be inevitable.
  5. Nice. I like the wooden bed and tailgate chains.
  6. Extremely realistic looking Chuck!? Dang, that is one huge goat!
  7. That looks really nice Tony.? I sure would have guessed that you spent more than a week on it.?
  8. Wow, very meticulous work KK!??? I would have just filed the one opera window bigger likely….?.
  9. The lift gate is a bit warped on this one so I am adding a layer of .030” styrene. If I can’t get it to sit nice and hinge half decently I will just glue it in place. I’ve got the body painted with AK Colors RC016 Ochre and one coat of Mr. Hobby clear. I will paint and foil the trim before another coat of clear. Thanks for looking and have a safe and Happy New Year!?
  10. He was in such a rush that he grabbed the wifes’ coat by mistake.?
  11. Article of clothing I appreciate most right now is a parka.?
  12. Southwest chipotle sauce is what I like on my Subway sandwiches.
  13. I have the driveshafts built and the drivetrain and exhaust system installed. Now onto some bodywork.? I figured out a way to locate the roof with pins and still have it removable too
  14. NOW you tell me.?? You could file the inside jaws and depth pin to agreement. Not .001” accurate likely though.
  15. *Just a heads up for anyone contemplating doing this*. ONLY THE MAIN JAWS WILL READ ACCURATE after this modification. Neither the end depth guage or inside jaws will agree with the outside jaws. I found that out this morning when I measured a gap with the inside jaws then measured a filler piece with the main jaws and it came out short by the thickness of my metal plate.? Still a useful mod, but be aware.…you might not want to do it to your ONLY micrometer.
  16. Nice progress Dennis. Those wheels look perfect.?
  17. I made these plug boots from the insulation on the orange wire from a CAT5 cable. The wire loom I made from a flattened piece of solid wire. You need some good quality bits to drill the looms though.
  18. Are your model building hours increasing or decreasing?
  19. Well I’d say that’s a bit of an improvement!? Fabulous work Steven!?
  20. I am certainly no paint expert, but I put everything in the dehydrator immediately after spraying….less chance of getting dust on it.
  21. Your pictures are not coming through. You are obviously fairly new at this hobby so I have two pieces of advice. 1) Search You Tube for videos on using the type of paint you want to use, and….2) Practice on plastic spoons or cups until you feel confident enough to try it on a model.
  22. I added some pedals too that I made from brass rod and styrene bits, since there was nothing in the kit. And I am slowly getting the body ready for paint. I installed a battery box for a resin battery since the battery in the kit is horribly undersized. After a coat of primer, I found some more rivets that need removing.
