  1. Beautiful work you’re doing here Bob!?
  2. That mock-up looks great!?
  3. Fabulous looking build Chris!?Like others have said…the engine looks darn near real.
  4. Super nice build!?
  5. Soon winter will be upon us again.
  6. Check that recent thread for tips. I have used insulation from a larger wire for boots.
  7. Misused and abused were all my younger brother’s toys, most of which met their fate under a ball pein hammer, especially the Hot Wheels and the Matchboxes.
  8. Dresses should be kept long enough to cover your knees said the schoolmarm.
  9. Sweet looking Mustang!?
  10. “Nuts & Bolts” is a snack mix that is very popular.
  11. Unknown to me, are the reasons for not following the rules….but regardless, now we are back on track!?
  12. Also, use the smallest needle and nozzle you have….030” or smaller may work.
  13. Your math is correct. The difference in 1/25 scale between my 1/2” wire and your proper 8.5mm wire is 0.0068” which is pretty much undetectable by the naked eye. Like you said…if it looks right, it works. Anything much larger looks cartoonish in my mind.
  14. Content with the content of this forum I am.
  15. This is what I use. It measures .020” which is 1/2” in scale. It looks right and that’s what counts. I see a lot of builds that look like they’ve used heater hose for plug wires.
  16. I hope you do a build thread on it!?
  17. Exactly…that is my philosophy. I have not measured anything, but from the measurements Karl posted, the body is anywhere from 8-5/8” to 10-3/16” short on a 1:1 (approx. 3/8” in scale). It looks close enough for me and I would not attempt to fix it myself.
  18. Stupidity can be cured through education, but the subject must be willing and put forth an effort.
  19. It looks like it maybe needs a little extra length between the door and the rear wheel opening? The size and shape of the rear side window is a little off, and the rear profile could be squared up a hair? ?‍♂️ All in all, the body looks fairly accurate to me. I have no idea about the C-10.
  20. Written words, if done with passion, can be very moving.
  21. I have the Blazer Crew Chief kit if that’s the one you are talking about? I haven’t actually measured the body, but it looks pretty decent to me. There are definitely some scale issues with some of the parts.? Best to get a donor kit for parts or do some scratch building. My build so far… http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/topic/158387-blazer-crew-chief/
  22. Very meticulous job you’re doing on this one. It looks fantastic so far!?
  23. Addictive behaviour, if channeled towards a hobby like model building, can be very healthy.
  24. Picked this one up at the local flea market today. The Skip’s Fiesta ‘60 Corvette was a nice kit, so I hope this one is too!
  25. I love the quality of the fab work you do Roger. Normally, I like a nose down attitude, but that bit of squat looks sweet on this one and I like it!
