Thank you Gary, Helmut and Michael. I still have all my Matchbox cars. Most in their boxes. A carry case. The fire house. The Matchbox City. The Matchbox Car carrie. And my Corgi and Dinky cars. At almost 70. I don't know what to do with them all. I hate to let them go but no one in the family wants them.

This was my younger brother’s car. Badly chipped. What tires it had kept falling off. If you have old Matchbox cars some of the tires do seem to fall off for some reason. Found vendors on eBay who make replacement tires and decals. So it’s restored. I have an extra set of tires as you had to buy 2 sets. Fit the Lotus racer also I think.

Hey Bob. My luck at two tone (body and roof of the Caddy) is horrible. Just threw a black and silver Oldsmobile into the purple pond for the 3rd time. And I have a 59 El camino where once again spray found their way under the taped parts of the body. Inside the rear bed. I tried sanding the over spray off. Nope. So I think I'll put the bed cover on and go on from there. If I tried to do the Caddy is would never make it into the display case. At 69 quickly approaching 70. I've learned my limits and respect them so I don't get so frustrated. LOL!

It was a decent price Carl. The Barracuda was a steal.

I got these recently. The Barracuda is repainted the closest I could get to it's original color. Needed a repaint. Plus I used the Revell Chrome on the front and rear bumpers. Couldn't get the wheels to come off the axels. So one front tire white wall isn't great. The Caddy is a snap kit with a coat of Revive It to make it shiny. I didn't want to detail them.

Spectrum had to come the other day. Seems the original installer didn't use an all weather connector out side. Just a normal one. A 5 way splitter inside when a 2 way was all that was needed. And a faulty router as the original one had only 1 light lit when it would have had 3 lights lit. Glad this guy liked doing his job. He was here for 3 hours checking and replacing everything.
