Thank you David. It actually sitting with w rubber band on it holding the glass in place. The glass frame was a bit off I think due to age. Wasn't fitting right.

Really nice looking car. The color really makes it.

Finished this today. The Predicta by Monogram. The plastic is a nice dark blue metallic. There was 2 sets of injector tubes. 4 on each side and one set was missing. So I put a carb and air cleaner on the engine in place of them.

A lot of great advice guys. I'll look into the instructions more about the bumpers. I did a blue one but my mind isn't what it use to be. The bumpers might be able to be glued in place. -
Finished today. AMT 1966 Mustang GT Fastback. The last of the "Trio".

A lot of good ideas for using these. Thank you.

True Carl. It was a nice day. Sun was out. Snow on the ground so I couldn't do any tree branch cleanup. And I think Hobby Lobby must buy huge quantities.

Thank you guys for your advice. Never thought to tape the front and rear bumpers on David. You get old and you kind of lose your common sense. LOL -
I'm lucky that my car gets 30 mpg on the highway which was most of the trip. But you are right Joe. Plus the stores in NYS are asking people if they want to round the total up for whatever charity they are collecting for. So the kit cost me $15 with state tax.

With all the talk about Micheal's and Hobby Lobby having kits on discount. I held off as long as I could. But curiosity killed the cat. So I did 100 miles today checking out the closest stores to me. The 2 Micheals. One had kits but not at discount. The 2nd one had no kits what so ever. And the remains of their Testors paint just on a shelf. That store doesn't look like they are going to carry them anymore. That store wasn't very big. The 2 Hobby Lobby's. One store had one Revell Motor City Muscle 1966 Mustang kit for $14.99. I have 2 built already. So I passed on it. And both stores had their shelves full of the same kits from the past few years. While near a distant Ollies. I stopped in and found an AMT 007 1971 Mustang kit. Only car kit that store had. So I got one kit in my trip which is better than none right? And I looked for Tamiya polishing compounds at both Hobby Lobby's. None. And they had some new pen type things. I can't described them any better than that because the labeling was in Chinese. So I couldn't read it.

I want to duplicate the car on the box. Not really good at 2 tones. Why the first one I built was blue. LOL! Would you paint the whole thing black. Then mask it off to spray the lower parts silver? Or visa versa. Or mask it off for each color? And would you attach the front and rear bumper before you paint even though the instructions show them being attached later in the building process. Thank you.

Thank you Trevor, David, and Mario. That was stretching my memory David. But figured the 1964.5 convertible would have had the 260.
