  1. That is really nice.
  2. I hear you Carl I have the same problem seeing I have Renaud’s disease. Door handles.Mirrors. All hard to set in place.
  3. Did the trunk on your open Snake? Mine is hinged but that baby wouldn't budge and I was afraid I'd break it.
  4. Really nice Randy.
  5. Tim. I don't know. And the thing is. After you put the engine together. You place this big cover over it and then you can't see the engine. Hind sight, I shouldn't have glued it. But here is a scan from the instructions showing the engine pieces. You'll have to save the picture to your computer and make it portrait for easier viewing as this is the only way I could download the scan. Maybe you can tell from that as there is nothing on the box that says Hemi. Actually there is a big word Hemi on the hood. Didn't notice until now. Thank you Randy. I appreciate your comments. I think the side trim might have shrunk over time in the box because the holes wouldn't line up. And gently pulling to try and reach the holes made the pieces snap. The passenger side. I cut the middle post of it and then it fit fine.
  6. Looks like a nice kit even though it's missing a few things. And you are right. The box is really nice.
  7. One of my favorite songs has lyrics that say “the things in my life that are bad for me, make me feel alive”. :-)
  8. Wonderful Randy. Enjoy.
  9. Latest. Messed up the trim on the drivers side. I will touch it up with some yellow paint so it’s not so noticeable. And new towing the old.
  10. Pulled pork taco soup. I should have taken a picture but I forgot as I was so hungry. Recipe at the link provided. A good site for quick recipes. https://www.plainchicken.com/2018/09/pulled-pork-taco-soup.html
  11. That is a beautiful color.
  12. I can see why you want to keep it. Nice.
  13. That came out really nice.
  14. You have to love those old beetles. Nice job.
  15. And Randy. I adhered the scenes or the garage onto foam core. You could adhere them to thin card board and cut them out to hang on your garage walls. It might look really cool. Actually. I could scan them and send them to you.
  16. I'll try that. Thank you for the tip.
  17. Nice Randy.
  18. It looks really nice Randy. Maybe something ti try in the Spring/Summer. I want to get one of the new tool kits from AMT as soon as they come to my area. Hopefully they will be here at the end of the month.
  19. Thank guys but I can't take credit for the paint job as it's a Pro Shop kit.
  20. Well. I've never done this before so it will be a challenge seeing I have Renaud's disease. I can't feel anything with my finger tips so I have a very difficult time with the tiny parts like mirrors, door handles, lenses and such. And tweezers don't help because I can't tell how much pressure I'm squeezing so most time they pop out of the tweezers and I end up spending a hour looking for what ever it was that took flight. I'll keep looking for them online. I wish someone could make resin copies as there seems to be a high demand for them.
  21. I think it might be the frames. When I glued it together one side of the front of the body and the frame didn't meet. So I clapped it together until it stuck thinking that would fix it. But then the hood didn't lay flat.Next time I run into this situation. I'll know to look a bit further into the problem. The tires sit flat in the table. I thought of possibly eating the whole bottom of the car with a blow dryer to see if it settles out. But a bit wary of doing that also. And thank you all again for your comments.
  22. I hope to have a better garage scene someday. Is yours made out of wood? Or foam core? That impala is nice. I have a bunch of smaller die cast packed away. I had them out on display but the plastic kits have pushed them out of the cabinet. And I have my Matchbox cars along with Matchbox city and a matchbox fire station. Almost all of them are in their boxes but the thing is. I wrote on top of the boxes what was in each box so I didn't have to keep pulling the boxes out. I'm told that ruined the boxes. I think it gave them character. And a few Corgi's and Dinky's from my childhood. I had a Prameta Buick but my younger brother stole it and traded it for a GI Joe. Here's a photo of one.
  23. Your builds are amazing. Really nice
