Sorry Dale. I saw the bottle with Essie in the photo and thought it was nail polish since you were writing about the sanding sticks which look like the type they use in the beauty parlors. I kind of gather that maybe I’m not up to level of this forum with the questions I ask. I’ll refrain rom asking any in the future.

Got these yesterday from The Sales Shack. I couldn’t believe how quickly I got them. A 56 Chrysler and a 62 Ford.

Model shops in my area that I didn't know existed.
ewetwo replied to ewetwo's topic in The Off-Topic Lounge
Well they are geared more towards trains and military but had a descent car selection. Mainly the newer kits. But one said if there was something specific I wanted. They would do their best to find it. So nice customer service. I’d rather give them the $30 for a kit rather than give AC Moore the $30. Just thought if there were any other forum members in my area. I’d pas this along. -
I found these 2 hobby shops that I never knew existed. They advertise as Train Hobby Shops but have more. So I'll post them here in case someone else in the area didn't know about them. The first one is in Schenectady, NY and has quite a collection of model car kits. I'd say 40 - 50 different kits. Prices vary from $24 - $32. Not cheap but I bought a kit today to support the little hobby shops. http://www.mohawkvalleymodelrailroad.com/hobby_shop The second one is outside Amsterdam, NY. They have been there 6 years and are trying to get more auto kits in. But he said it's difficult seeing there are not that many car kit makers anymore. But had a great selection of bottle and canned paints. Styrene strips. He had some nice kits also. At least I won't have to drive to Albany to get building supplies and paints. https://mileposthobbies.com Here is a photo of the some of the kits Mile Post Hobbies had.

I just took these with my iPad which I use to take all my photos. But added the back ground. Now the 2 side photos with the scene in the back ground uploaded. But a picture that was taken from above looking at the interior and motor did not load. Someone mentioned that it needed back ground in the pic. Seems to work.

I’ll try that. Plus the fact it’s square? I know you can’t upload pictures in portrait format. Thank you Casey.

Glad I wasn’t the only person. I have cellular internet and wonder if that is an issue. How busy the cell tower is? Speed tests show speed differences. I haven’t tried uploading but will now. Would not load the photo. Got the error message. Nice Nova though.

That's wonderful. And your figures look spot on which I could never do.

Nice build.

Paleo chili on rice with some shredded cheddar and a dollop of sour cream. I'm not paleo but I had friend who were. They were coming to dining so I found this chili recipe and liked it enough to keep making it. One thing is you replace the beans with cubed sweet potatoes,
