  1. You are right David. I like it this way.
  2. Thank you. I have the decals. Just didn’t know if I wanted to put them on. I kind of like it’s plain.
  3. I bought this kit that was 90 percent built. Brush painted orange. I was able to get it apart and I re-did the interior and exterior. This was soaked in purple power 4 times because I would somehow make the paint crinkle. Decals? Or no decals.
  4. Thanks everyone. I was amazed at how much inner front fender I had to shave off. If I didn't there would have been gaps looking at the front tire from under the hood. And yes Andre. I tried every tire I had but none would fit those wheels that came with it. So yes. The dreaded split tires. grrr. I had to shave quite a bit of the front bumper down for that to fit and cut the bumper brackets in back to make that bumper work. I agree Dominik. I'm starting to dread opening doors and trunks also. LOL I have another 57 in the purple power right now. That was a mess. Brush painted black. Red brush painted interior. Hood is cut for the blower so a hot rod it will be. I did like the flame decals on it but they are now gone. And most of the models I have built while a member of this forum have been started kits I bought cheap. I'm hoping to use those to get my building skills a bit better. Then onto the new ones I have.
  5. I bought this kit started at a garage sale. That's why the front windshield looks so bad. I had to cut it out before it went into the purple power. The suspension, motor. all built for hot rod. But I do stock. So here it is finally.
  6. That's awesome. You could build those and sell them on eBay for Christmas.
  7. Looks great.
  8. The Micheals by me said they are not going to carry models anymore. I just bought a Titanic model at Micheals for my nephews to build and they are ringing up at $16.00. Not the $29.95 that is on the shelf.
  9. Chicken breast seasoned with Greek seasoning then sautéed in olive oil and chopped garlic. With the drippings I added 2 tables butter then 2 tbs of sour cream to make it a cream sauce. Mashed potatoes with sour cream and chives with ginger/honey glazed carrots.
  10. I thought you could stay in them for free. You shouldn’t have to pay rent. Sad. Glad you are well Terry.
  11. I can't even imagine what it was like. And to think if you did survive. You have no place to go. I did see on the news where this guy and his daughter filled an RV with supplies and will be donating everything, Including the RV. And he has plans to do this again with another RV. Some really amazing people out there. Which got me thinking about FEMA. Here in upstate NYS when we had the devastating floods a few years back. FEMA brought in trailers for people to stay in. What happen to them?
  12. I made a huge pot of turkey vegetable soup from the carcass of the Thanksgiving Turkey on Friday. Made about 5 gallons. Been having it every night since because I have no freezer space left. Gave some to a neighbor. Still enough for a week. Last night I added a cube steak sandwich just to change it up a bit. LOL
  13. This is great,
  14. My heart goes out to you and your family Brian. Along with all the other families who have lost everything because of these fires. It's hard to imagine. Hoping you have a wonderful Thanksgiving. I like the Opel.
  15. Both look great Snake.
  16. I have had a few doctors leave because they were connected to a hospital. Usually before they would leave I would see them. I would ask them why they are leaving and the answer was usually they were not making their daily patient quotas. It went from the doctors caring for their patients to the almighty dollar because the hospital joined the Ascension Group. Although a called a so called non profit. Someone is benefitting from this group. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ascension_(company)
  17. Thai coconut chicken over rice. That sounds really tasty Jeff. And the pizza muffins should tasty also Steven..
  18. Tonights dinner is really breakfast. Home made egg McMuffins with sliced peaches and cottage cheese on the side. Sometime you have to mix meals up.
  19. I agree. Beautiful.
  20. I don't have the lower station. But another forum member told me they had one as a kid. You would hook the hose to the car and fill it up with Gas (water). Then the part on the right is where you would put the car. Push the back button and empty the Gas (water).
  21. I think around 1/43. They go to this originally.
  22. Leftover stuffed chicken breast cooked in Rice a Roni Spanish rice with diced tomatoes and black beans. Italian bread and a tossed salad.
