I found these 2 hobby shops that I never knew existed. They advertise as Train Hobby Shops but have more. So I'll post them here in case someone else in the area didn't know about them. The first one is in Schenectady, NY and has quite a collection of model car kits. I'd say 40 - 50 different kits. Prices vary from $24 - $32. Not cheap but I bought a kit today to support the little hobby shops.

The second one is outside Amsterdam, NY. They have been there 6 years and are trying to get more auto kits in. But he said it's difficult seeing there are not that many car kit makers anymore. But had a great selection of bottle and canned paints. Styrene strips. He had some nice kits also. At least I won't have to drive to Albany to get building supplies and paints.
