  1. Short shot. Well I sent them an email. Time will tell right?
  2. 1964 Ford is one of my favorites and I'm looking forward to seeing the end result.
  3. Nice build. Where did you ever find the sunglasses? I looked for a pair to put in the Mustang that I made my brother.
  4. It looks great.
  5. Wow. Really nice. Looks like the real deal.
  6. I have a kit from Revell that suffered from what I'm told is blow mold. Does anyone know anything on what's going on with Revell? I went to their website and it doesn't look like anything has been updated since March. So I'm figuring my chances of getting them to send me a replacement body will be close to nil. Why I didn't notice it until now I don't know.
  7. OK. I thought most of the auto part store stopped carrying paint. I'll have to check it out.

Thank for the comment and input. I appreciate it. I tried the whitewalls I had but none of them worked. And the wheels that came with the kit were the only option. I need to find a place that sells the wheel backs so I can use other wheels and hub caps.
  9. The only place I've seen Duplicolor is at Ollies. Where do you get it.

I wanted to put the whitewalls on it but I haven't gotten my circle cutter yet. it's back ordered. Yours is beautiful Dave. I originally painted the indentation the side red but didn't like it. Snake. I didn't painted it. I just coated it. So I can't take credit for the paint job.
  11. Nice. On my list. :-)
  12. !960 Corvette is done. I t came black so I ran with it.
  13. Very nice.
  14. Very cool.
  15. More common than I ever thought. The girl told me that certain customers know what day the new shipment comes in and while she's trying to put stuff on the shelves. These customers go through the big shipping box throwing stuff on the floor. Reminds me of the time I bought a toaster from the thrift store. It was sealed so I figured it new as whoever re-taped it did a fantastic match to the original tape. Upon getting home I opened it only to find it wasn't a new toaster, but a used one that was filthy. I went back for a refund and they said they would only give me store credit and that I should have checked before I bought it. I told them I was raised to never open a seal anything in a store. But I will now. Oh, and the girl at Hobby Lobby said they are having cameras filming the model car section installed. But I told her that wouldn't stop them from taking a kit into another isle. She said true.
  16. Yes Bill. Did eBay stand behind you? I had an incident with a purchase from eBay. Bought an item from a seller I had purchased from before. The item arrived damaged even though the box was un- damaged. I put in a complaint with Paypal and they got all my money back. Still sad though.
  17. I went to my local Hobby Lobby today to see if any of the new kits were in. I got chatting with a nice young woman who's in charge of the department that the models, paints and other model building things are locate. During our discussion. She told me about the problem they have of people coming in. Open the kits. And stealing parts. Sad that the model building community has people who would do this and tarnish the reputation of a majority of honest model hobby buyers. Just my thought.
  18. Another great trade with Oldcarfan27 (Patrick). Enjoy our trades. 10 plus.
  19. Really nice.
  20. Awesome. You are a good friend.
  21. You buildings are beautiful. What are they made of.
  22. Your builds are stunning. Especially since I love stock builds. But appreciate the vision the custom builders have. Which I lack.
  23. What we ought to do is buy multiple kits and then just trade them for the ones not in your area. We know how much they cost. Just pay for shipping and that should be $10 or less.
