More common than I ever thought. The girl told me that certain customers know what day the new shipment comes in and while she's trying to put stuff on the shelves. These customers go through the big shipping box throwing stuff on the floor. Reminds me of the time I bought a toaster from the thrift store. It was sealed so I figured it new as whoever re-taped it did a fantastic match to the original tape. Upon getting home I opened it only to find it wasn't a new toaster, but a used one that was filthy. I went back for a refund and they said they would only give me store credit and that I should have checked before I bought it. I told them I was raised to never open a seal anything in a store. But I will now.
Oh, and the girl at Hobby Lobby said they are having cameras filming the model car section installed. But I told her that wouldn't stop them from taking a kit into another isle. She said true.
