  1. Thank you. It was an easy. Stress free build. You need them once in a while right?
  2. This was an easy build. I only painted the interior to jazz it up a bit. Silvered the chrome areas. And coated it with Pledge Revive It. So despite my painting disaster earlier. I finished this off. I should stick to color molded or preprinted kits.
  3. That is a lot of Dukes of Hazard stuff. Make sure the replacement house is bigger.
  4. Thank you all for your input. It is greatly appreciated. I have my work cut out for me. First stripping the Rustoleum primer. Just to see if Rustoleum worked with Rustoleum. I sprayed the cab of a truck that was primed with the Rustoleum primer with Rustoleum paint and it crinkled in spots. So I guess they are not compatible with each other either. That too will be going into the stripper and the Rustoleum primer in the trash.
  5. we got hit a couple of weekends ago. Just freezing rain here last night.
  6. OK. I’ll get it tomorrow. Do I soak all of the primed models in the purple pond? The fury is already in there? Or do I spray the Dupli-Color primer over it.
  7. What is a good primer to use? And is any that are compatible with all spray paints? I have a ton of Rustoleum spray paints. Do I use Rustoleum primer for those? Thanks for the imput. It’s greatly appreciated.
  8. I sprayed this 3 weeks ago with Rustoleum 2X ultra “bonds to plastics” primer. Today I sprayed Dupli-Color Perfect Match paint on it. Within seconds this occurred. What did I do wrong? It has to be the primer right? And what primer works with Dupli-Color. I have 5 kits sprayed with this primer on them.
  9. Perfect!

    Really nice.
  11. Very nice. Love the grill in the green. one.
  12. I got these today. The garage diorama tool kits were purchased at a local hobby store. The last ones and he didn’t know if he could order more. The 1955 Ford F100 was purchased at Micheal’s using an AC Moore 60% off 1 item coupon. That was $9.00 and change. And a jar of flat black paint.
  13. Yes. The inserts are beautiful. As is the whole build.
  14. That is beautiful.
  15. This came out great. Nice build.
  16. When I got home from work one night years ago. There was this little white puppy sitting by my garage door. I had it for about 2 weeks before I found the owners. I had named it Ewe because it looked like a little lamb. When I got my dog. I named her Ewetwo. That's my user name at many places in memory of her. She was a wonderful dog.
  17. Really nice Richard.
  18. Thank you Carl.
  19. No. I got this last summer at an estate sale and I've been piecing it back together. Once I get all the pieces. It will be my first restore. It had the half roof with one clear sunroof. Missing one sunroof. Had the custom front end. No hood. So it's slowly coming together. Actually I have done more restores so I’m wrong with that statement Atin. My mistake.
  20. I’m not sure where to post this as it’s an on-going project in process. I’ve got most of the parts I need for my Lincoln. Got the stock front end a month ago. Just got the hood today. All I need now is the hood emblem. Stock hubcaps. And of course the tail lights that seems like everyone in the universe is also looking for. I can live with the custom hub caps as that are kind of snazzy.
  21. We didn't trade. But I wanted to thank Casey for sending me everything I needed for my 1957 Chrysler 300C. Thank you Casey. I hope I can do the same for you one day.
  22. It looks great. I spotted a can of pick up truck bed protective spray and wondered how that would work.
  23. OMG. It's amazing the resources everyone has. I have a hard time thinking out of the box. I would have never thought of this Snake. LOL.
  24. I keep forgetting to take a pic. Last night was roasted boneless pork loin with Aldi's Stonemill "Kicked-Up Chicken" seasoning. It's a tasty seasoning with a little heat. Gravy. Cranberry Dressing. Chunky applesauce. And pea and corn. Same dinner tonight.
