Made quite a mess Carl. It sprayed everywhere. Guess I'll have to get new glasses as there are speckles of blue paint on them. Can't get them off and don't want to try anything too harsh on them.

Is this the epoxy you used? https://www.acehardware.com/departments/plumbing/solvents-and-cements/plumbers-putty-and-sealers/48526?store=11365&gad_source=1&gclsrc=ds -

My theory is kits with the price stickers under the cellophane are made for Ollie's. Tagged before they are wrapped. The kits that have with the stickers on the outside are buy outs from Round 2 or major stores like Walmart. Who had them. But they didn't sell well enough to take up space it their stores.

Trying to get the cap off of a Duplicolor can of paint. When it popped off. So did the spray nozzle and blue metallic paint spray everywhere. Including on myself. Theres $18 down the drain.

I Just noticed the Nomad was $15.99. Wish I noticed in the store.

Some mentions the huge wing on the back of the Firebird. That isn’t attached so you can build it without it. The Nomad kit. You have to cut the hood. So that leaves an option to build it more stock though I didn’t see a stock air cleaner in there. The Camaro is as pictured on the front.

My step dad bought a red suburban when I was a kid. I remember it only having 1 door on the drivers side. -
Nice duo you have there.

That is beautiful. -
I looked the box over. It doesn't say. It does say you will need paint. They are all the Custom Cruiser line. I think they can only be made like the photo on the front.

Got these today at my local Ollies. There were the earlier kits and also some 56 Belair that they had like a year ago.

I count my blessings that I didn’t kill my entire family.

Wow. Glad you and your family are ok Ron. I had the gas company come to my house one time because the gas pilot light kept going out. So they installed a new electronic igniter unit. The old unit had a small gas line run into the furnace. They cut it and bent the end over I guess thinking that would stop the gas. A couple of days later I went to go into the basement and I smelled gas. Call the gas company up and reported it. The repair guys came and argued with me saying there was no gas in the basement. But I insisted there was. Finally they got this instrument out and started walking around the basement and sure enough. Where they crimped the end of the old pilot line. There was gas coming out. That's when I noticed a shut off valve in the line and shut it. Same thing happened outside the house. I called complaining I smelled gas in the front yard of the house. They poo posed it then they found the meter was leaking. Always follow you instincts and stick to them until things are rectified. -
Hi Oliver. A lot of nice people in this forum.
