  1. Jarda, Before you strip all the paint off and start again. Have you considered getting some yellow stripes from Microscale Details www.microscale.com These would cover all the imperfections in the yellow paint and give a very crisp fine edge to the yellow stripe. I have started using their stripes on many of my builds, the quality is excellent. By the way excellent work so far!
  2. Wow! This is a superb build. Excellent details and skill. Your best yet Kurt.
  3. I like this! Very nice indeed.
  4. Excellent project! I will have to get one of these kits sometime.
  5. An excellent project! The details and finish are superb.
  6. That paint work is exceptional. Excellent job so far.
  7. Dave, The headache rack is scratch built, it's based on the Kenworth Alaskan Hauler one. Rear views as requested.
  8. Excellent weathering skills. Very Impressive.
  9. This looks interesting. I might have to get one! Jim, Yes they were from the late 40s early 50s. Bedford was created as a stand alone company in Britain by GMC. You can see the GM influence in the designs. Bedford's were one of the most popular lorries (trucks) on the road at one time.
  10. Thanks for all the comments. When I painted the cab with the clear coat it was still too cold outside. This caused the fogging effect on the paint that you can see on the dark blue at the bottom of the cab. I considered stripping the paint and starting again, but decided to leave it as it was.
  11. I like this! What an excellent paint scheme.
  12. Thanks for all the great comments. I like the utility hard working appearance of trucks like this. To me lots of chrome does not look right on a vehicle like this. Thanks Again!
  13. Pavel, May apologies I put my comment under the wrong post!
  14. I'm glad you all enjoyed the photo's and Thanks for the comments. I was almost finished this and just putting the final touches to I,t when I had a thought. This would look great as a logging truck!! But I did not want to destroy what I had created. So maybe another build will be a logging truck in the same livery. Thanks Again.
  15. Excellent! The details are incredible including the little padlock on the spare wheel. This is true model engineering in its finest expression, simply superb.
  16. This was a build that I completed in about 2 weeks. Yes I know a miracle for me. I actually started it the same day that I finished the Peterbilt 359M. I felt inspired and have been planning to build the DM so I got straight on to it. A very enjoyable build, despite that fact that it fought me all the way. Yes I was pleased with the result. I would like to build one of those beam support or bridge trailers to go with it. Not sure what the correct term for them is. Hope you enjoy and thanks for looking. More photo's at my Fotki site. The link is at the bottom.
  17. This is a build which has taken quite a while to complete. But it is finished now. Hope you enjoy and thanks for looking. For more photo's check my Fotki site. The link is at the bottom
  18. Well I finally got this build finished. It was completed towards the end of December 2013, but I have been waiting for the weather to improve so I could get some photographs. Definitely one of my favourite builds. The engine is by Howard at KFS www.kitformservices.com built as a Clatterpillar 1693TA. The extended hood is by Eric at P & P www.ppvintagekits.com Hope you enjoy and Thanks for looking. For more photo's check my Fotki site the link is at the bottom.
  19. Excellent build! This is a well thought out project and looks right.
  20. Excellent build! I like the wood interior in the trailer.
