    This will be an excellent project! I'm surprised that non of the model companies ever made a kit of the Peterbilt, it's trailer and Valiant. I'm sure they would sell like "hot cakes". Maybe something for Mobius to think about. Good Luck with the project. I think if I remember rightly, the main truck in the movie had a Clatterpillar 1674 diesel with a 9 or 10 speed transmission. The surviving truck has a Cummins NTC 350. As for the second truck (The one with the KW mud flaps in the scene with the school bus) maybe a Cummins "Iron Lung"? Not sure!

    Superb looking truck. The paint is perfect and as mentioned by others, not too much chrome really captures the 1960s era. Excellent well done.

    Ken, This really is impressive work so far. I like the bigger cab it looks much better, also your style of painting it has a sort of "retro" feel to it. Good luck with the rest of the build.

    This really is an outstanding work of art. The attention to detail just gets better and better. For an inlet flexible bellows may be try a flexible drinking straw?

    Another great looking truck. It has the appearance of a vehicle that's about 3 or 4 years old. Maybe it's just the light, but I like it.

    Excellent work! I really like the way you photograph your trucks. The image reminds me of the many old truck photo's on Hank's Truck Pictures.
