Thank you. I am driving up today to give it to Mom. BTW The Tennessee Traveler was my Dad's CB handle. Now I have the urge to build another big rig. Maybe a conventional Peterbuilt for my brother (retired trucker) who is in a nursing home in Missouri. I believe that was his favorite ride.

A little backstory...My dad drove for Memphis Furniture Company for years before they went out of business in 1989 I believe. Dad passed away about 4 years ago. A while back I went up to Tennessee to visit my Mom who is 87 years old. She asked me how I was doing with my modeling and in the course of the conversation she mentioned she always wanted to build a semi truck model. So I decided to build a tribute truck to my Dad and give it to my Mom. He drove a GMC Astro mostly and also an International 4070 according to my brother who is a retired trucker and knows these things. We have no pictures of his trucks, the only thing I had to go by is the patch from the back of his jacket and my memory. So anyhow, it is not perfect, but I think Mom will be pleased. I am giving it to her later this week.

Finished this one a couple weeks ago. I originally painted it scarlet red but after having paint problems twice, I decided to go with the pearl black. AMT car went together well I enjoyed the build except for the paint problems.
