I don’t like the original series at all to dated to cheep to cheesy and unfuturistic looking I am glad with the third episode of season 2 of strange new worlds they pretty much finished retconning the original show out of canon with the rest of the shows and films and is in it’s own alternate timeline all by itself so now the original show does not matter at all in the overall franchise

Thank you KARR was designed and built before KITT but KARR’s programming differed from KITT’s programming KARR’s programming was for self preservation which made KARR dangerous and he manipulated any human who got inside and interacted with him to do his bidding while making it seem like it was in the best interest of the whoever he was manipulating While KITT’s was the preservation of all human life and more specifically Michael knight’s life above all else KARR first appeared in the season 1 episode trust does not rust where he was voiced by Peter Cullen who is best known as the voice of Optimus prime from transformers the season 3 episode KITT vs KARR was set 2 years after the events the season 1 episode Trust does not rust at the end of that episode KARR was thought destroyed after going off a cliff into the ocean and exploding but that was not what happened

The third episode of season 2 of strange new worlds retconned tos out of canon with the rest of the trek shows and films as it is a time travel episode and a continuation of the temporal Cold War from Star Trek enterprise and resets khan’s origin to being only 6 years old in 2022 and born in Toronto Canada and the first episode of season 1 of snw and the last episode of episode of season 2 of Star Trek Picard also retconned the eugenics war to before ww3 in the 2060’s but after the second U.S. civil war which is sometime after 2024 since season 2 of Star Trek Picard is a 10 episode time travel and alternate timeline hopping story and is mostly set in the year 2024 only the first 2 episodes and the last half of the final episode take place in the year 2401

Nope from Star Trek strange new worlds the first discovery spin off series the follows the crew of the enterprise under the command of captain Christopher pike during his second and final 5 year mission we have lots of new faces lieutenant Erica ortegas and lieutenant la’an noonien Singh and chief engineer pelia who replaced chief engineer hemmer after he died and some familiar faces from the original trek series with ensign uhura ,dr m’benga ,lieutenant Montgomery Scott aka Scotty and commander James t Kirk and his older brother lieutenant George Samuel Kirk aka Sam and lieutenant commander spock and nurse chapel The first episode of season 1 had his second five year mission start a year early in 2259 so in a way pike last tour as captain of the enterprise will be 6 years instead of 5 years
