i like the simple chassis the lindberg 72 challenger has and alot of the older mpc kits had i do not car much for the multi peice chassis amt/ertl and current round two amt kits have does exspecially when they have the interior pan as part of the chassis i perfer the seperate interior pan revell is way better at the multi peice chassis

this is a amt 70 challenger parts car i used a 73/74 challenger resin conversion kit from harts parts resin a 340 wedge engine from a 71 duster and used a peice of clear plastic for the custom split sunroof and the hood scoop ,side pipes, shifter ,front spliter,trunk spoiler , rims and tires all came from my parts boxes i painted the body with a base coat of rust-oleum metallic aluminium and top coat of testors extreme lacquer diamond dust the interior is a satin black with accents i painted apple barrel flamingo coral matte acrylic paint by hand with paint brush

i did some custom work on this amt/ertl 1981 280zx turbo kit with hood scoop and roof scoop a wing from my parts boxes i scratch made the wing pylons and made the 3 bumper mounted rally lights from legos i also glued the t-top glass in and sanded it down and painted them the body color to make it look like a solid roof i painted the body rust-oleum 2x satin blossom white then put a coat of rust-oleum 2x gloss clear over it the rims i painted testors spray enamel gloss metallic gold the bumpers and interior i painted rust-oleum 2x ultra matte black i used paint markers and sharpies to paint different parts of the engine and sharpies to do the side and taillight panel stripes
