  1. For inside the wheel wells I just used kleenex to prevent the silver from going over the inner fender red. Not perfect but kept it pretty clean. Yeah, YouTube deemed it inappropriate but it has been fixed. Thanks for saying.
  2. Nope, nothing under there except for empty bed. I made the cover from tissue paper and glue. Back in the day tonneau covers had these bars across to help keep the rain from pooling and getting heavy. That is what is replicated here, those bars. I didn't do any mods to the body so the flares are essentially just right from the box. The kit is supposed to sit a lot higher and the offset for the wheels would normally be a little further out but I had to tuck the wheels to get them to fit low. Hope that helps. Thank you. Nice and low!! ? Thanks
  3. Wow, I just love this to bits!
  4. Love the interior. A beautiful car and you definitely do it justice here.
  5. Super nice build. Incentive to build my own Stratos kit sitting in the stash.
  6. Love it! So clean.
  7. That color is great! Nice job on a very nice car.
  8. Ok, so this is one you don't see too often. Revell's Club de Mer kit is definitely from a time when model building was a different thing. I actually really liked this as a fun little build and it was the first time I have actually done figures for a vehicle. The figures were terribly molded and presented some challenge but I look forward to trying more figures in the future.
  9. I love these little cars but this is the first time I have ever actually built one of the MkIIs. The carbon fiber was a disaster but I got it looking half decent in the end, no big. Learned a lot which is the most important. I love the working sunroof. Full build on my YouTube channel.
  10. Nothing too special on this one, pretty much out of the box. It was more challenging filming it for YouTube than it was to actually build it. lol.
  11. I built this one to look like the box but without the canopy and at a little lower stance. This kit is pretty awesome actually and I really enjoyed how it went together, other than the cab and box fitting onto the frame, there was a little tweaking that needed to be done there. Full build on my YouTube Channel. https://youtu.be/5SJsO5Nn9ao
  12. That interior is beautiful. If I may, what is the tan color you used? It is perfect.
  13. Never chopped a top before so I figure I would give it a go and see what happens. Well, looks like it is a pretty tough task. Not so great an outcome but I learned a ton and now I know what not to do when chopping a top. I will give it a go again sometime but I am going to take a break from heavy customs for a bit. Tried Tamiya's two color paint and it is pretty cool. Goes on well and really didn't have any issues with it. Result is neat and I think there is even more you can do with it. It has given me some ideas anyway. Thanks for looking
  14. Perfect color choice and those rims look amazing. Love it!
  15. Love it. I have been considering getting this one for some time and it is great to see it built. Looks awesome.
  16. An older kit and not as well thought out as some of the other kits from this era. Many of the parts did not quite fit right or didn't have proper attachment points but overall not too bad. I have done worse. Paint messed up on me in the clear stage and the red plastic bleed through was quite apparent but this was more of a test car than anything to try and see if I can do stripes. Turns out I can do stripes. Cool. Interesting car and honest, looks a lot better in person than any of my photos. Something about the roundness of the car make it hard to photograph. Thanks for looking. Full build video on my YouTube channel.
  17. What a beaut. You did a great job with this one. I love these kits a lot.
  18. That looks awesome. Don't think I have ever seen this kit and being a big fan of 80s and 90s cars, I can see I am missing out. Congrats on a great build!
  19. I would love to do a channel on 1-1 stuff but I am sure I would get way too out of hand and full size is expensive! I am sure I would end up like hoovies garage only full of junky imports. Haha. The joint build was a blast and totally worth if. I would consider it with anyone up for it and really, it can be done even if you don't have a channel. Just need to video all your work. That tends to be the hard part.
  20. Thanks for the comments guys! Appreciate it!
  21. Thanks. I like the idea of a sleeper, right down to the rims. Haha. I will admit, I did get inspiration from an online photoshop I saw. Well, it likely will be good in a straight line but not sure how good that corvair suspension is! ? Thank you! Thanks! Thank you! ?? Here is the video. I don't have any photos of the underside but you can clearly see it in the video and how it went together. Hope that helps. Thank you. I would have to agree! ?
  22. Those rims are perfect.
  23. I love how this turned out. You did a fantastic job. What a great looking car.
  24. This is a great model. I have built it several times over the years but this is absolutely my best. But it was not without it's issues. The paint cracked on me with the first painting. Stripped it and painted again with a different color. Same result! Stripped it again and painted it with the first color I did and then it worked! I did this one as a joint build with someone from Poland. We built at the same time but didn't show each other what we were doing. When finished we shared all our video footage and then made a single video of the two kits being built together. It was actually a really great project over all. Full build video is on my YouTube channel and the joint build is as well. Thanks for looking!
