  1. Those skirts are fantastic looking, actually the entire build so far is fantastic looking. Are the seats themselves gloss?
  2. Would'nt Barris be responsible for work done in his shop , good work or bad? Just think "sleazy" is a little harsh.
  3. Perfect trade with Jeff Ford AKA ''jeffdeoranut'' he's one of the top traders here.
  4. Looks great, skirts look fantastic with your modifications.
  5. Nice build, the 2 hole Budds look great on this Freightliner
  6. Thanks to Andy AKA ''Sledsel'' for a great idea on using the Fireball 500 as a donor. With a little trading on the forum I acquired a partial kit and a beater body. I fit the top half on the build. Now I can keep moving forward with no idea where this is going. The rear quarters from the Fireball 500 body were cut out and fit onto an old Cuda that the builder hogged out the wheel wells with a hot knife So thanks for the suggestions it all helps, like I said, dont really know where this builds going.
  7. Need to get my clear plastic to make a simple windshield tomorrow, so calling this one done. I bought a builder Off Road Blazer at a swap and this 90% complete Kyote was in the box also. A few parts box items and some TLC was all it needed.
  8. Excellent work Bill, as always it was worth the wait. That engine is a show piece build itself...
  9. Had to change headlights , I missing [1] clear cover the other was glued up.Changed exhaust style s also as I did not have the original, this was the best I could come up with, seems to work fine enough. Need to purchase clear plastic and make a windshield, forgot I was out of clear. Get the interior done, install skid plate, steering wheel [using parts box steering wheel] P/E gauges, fan belts and engine top cover , tail lights , whip with small flag and any do-dads I find to get it done
  10. I wanted to get this one done so I shot it in 4 coats of ''Purple-Licious'' lacquer, and 2 coats of clear gloss. Must be really careful when I go to polish it out , I only had enough to paint it once. May get it done by Monday. I smoothed the dash out to use photo-etch gauges, and could not separate the rear lights from the housing without causing damage, so I'll have to paint the lenses This has light metal flake, Im still getting the paint ''Snake45'' mentioned in blue for the one thats close to being ready for paint.
  11. I use liquid glue and / or CA . Never tube glue. Mirrors I drill and pin with a dab of CA
  12. Pretty sharp looking police car
  13. Great trades happened with 64SS350 AKA Karl Bates and gardnerpag44 AKA Paul Gardner Paul and Karl had the parts I needed to get a few builds done, both are awesome to deal with.
  14. Your right Richard the paint I bought lays down rough, more purple glitter than paint on the spoon then got dull. I'll check on the Krylon craft series. Thanks again.

  24. Nice work Nick, I have a soft spot for gassers myself. How goes it I havent spotted you at any swap meets lately.
  25. Slight repair on widow frame, got it in primer and found a couple of areas that need slight body work where items were glued on. Made some new shafts for the bigger rear tires , the original shafts made the tires stick out to far and I do not have original tires and mags. Rear tires from Barris ''T'' buggy.
