Many moons ago I would pass this Toy truck museum a few times a month on I-44, so one day on my way back to Illinois I made a point to pull in providing there was enough room to park a 53'. I dont know the final count on entries but the tables looked pretty full, and your right Tim, the talent of the builder was apparent in every build.

El Camino and 63 Olds are full kits, the bag is full of pickup trucks, thats all I bought at Toledo. The Digger dragster was a prize from the drawing.

again nice build, I saw this at a show a few weeks ago..pick-up, bike and trailer.

My 1st trade, Ive sent items out but never traded in all these years on this Forum and it was smooth. Kevin Little aka bismarck super awesome person to deal with.

I do have that kit and that ideas not bad, I'[[ see if I can pick up a few builder items tomorrow @ Toledo before I borrow from any more kits.

Back to the ''shorty'' . Cleaned up and re arched rear wheel wells, smoothed out rear quarters. I needed the 1964 hood so I have to make the 65 hood work. Rear tires are just wide ovals, fronts are part box. I found a nicer windshield but Im stalled on how it should look. Should it be trimmed down to half height and no frame?, Convertible frame? Roof ?

Hopefully its more of a paint bomb vs. glue bomb , but either way theres some work ahead

My '75 Olds Cutlass came in two colors light blue and dark blue. I know its correct as I bought it at Toledo NNL about 6 years ago from Okey.

The Comet I have was sealed when I got it but the ends were splitting bad so I opened it about 4 years ago. I re opened it till this topic started. Mine had the ''Fast Eddie'' checkerboard decals in the kit# GC-2900

Now thats thinking outside the box for sure, good work
