  1. Just about anything that has "Revell" printed on the box and produced before the late 80s. Especially the tri-fives. Dodge L700 gets an honorable mention. I had to glue shut the doors on mine as well.
  2. I have that kit as well. It's all completed except for body paint, and I can't find wheels I like for it. I havent touched it in a couple of years, but it seemed like a really good kit.
  3. Built a few years back when Hobby Lobby cleared out the Sock It To Me kits. I bought several.
  4. Awesome work! Resin?
  5. I have a bunch of stalled projects. I'll have to dig one (or several) out tomorrow.
  6. No updates. Havent touched a kit since I posted this. It's at the top of my list when i get the time again.
  7. I'm digging it so far. Like the engine choice. I picked up a handful of those Corvettes cheap for the same purpose.
  8. I have a spare Trumpeter 6... think I'll use it with this kit.
  9. Love the Toyota

    My 2020

2020 started off pretty good, got a lot done. But since August or September, I havent even touched a kit. Guess I got burned out during the lockdown.
  11. Love it. One of my favorite body styles and you did a great job on it.
  12. Can't read either, but it looks like it comes with a Korean hottie.
  13. I know it's not finished, but it looks really good in that side profile pic
  14. Man, that is a good looking car
  15. Awesome work! I considered this conversion when I built my 74 Charger, but went box stock instead.
  16. I dont care for 55s or 56s. 57 was the best of that generation. But, I may still buy one.
  17. Call me weird, but I loved those cars. Heck, I even liked the Luminas.
  18. Awesome build, and awesome story to go with it.
  19. Hobby Lobby, Michael's, and occasionally Ollie's are pretty much the only plastic model sources around here. No real hobby shops unless I drive to the nearest bigger city, which has a Hobbytown USA. It's also over a 2 hour round trip. I do visit a small shop about 2 hours south of me once per month. They carry kits that the big three do not, plus they dont mark up older kits to current pricing trends. I bought several sealed kits from the 90s and 00s for $10-11 each.
  20. First time on the bench since hot weather arrived. Hard to paint with the humidity we've been having. Anyway, I found this kit for $10 at a small shop. Instead of building it as shown on the box, I'm going a different way. What if rednecks colonized the moon? Their buggies would be a lot more colorful than NASA's. I began by building a simple roll bar around the passenger compartment, then the rear bumper (with a 2" receiver hitch) The front is a parts box grill guard that will have a winch. Wheels are 1/20 Toyota 4wd pickup items. I haven't decided on paint. I'm leaning towards something bright and outlandish, but dirty and weathered sounds good, too.
  21. I actually prefer the "monster of the week" episodes. I hate the overall story arc. I'd like it better if Dean used an AR15 or something. His "no holster, hammer down" 1911 carry makes me cringe.
