Nice build. I'm working on one right now. Yes, the instructions are BLAH_BLAH_BLAH_BLAH. I work on mine off and on, sometimes several weeks between sessions, so maybe I missed something, but I haven't figured out how to attach the rear bumper assembly. Otherwise, everything thus far has fit fairly well, after some test fitting.

Love the 86. How well does the rocket bunny body parts fit? I have the BRZ, but was thinking about picking up the bunny as well.

Saw one at a hobby shop. It was sealed, so I couldn't see anything. Wondering what the deal was. Is it chrome plated for a reason, or just some gimmick? I assume the plating can be sprayed over?

My last build of 2021 is Tamiya's Subaru BRZ. I tried to make a model of my 1:1, but mine is a 2020 US spec car, and this kit can't be built that way. Still though I got pretty close. I used Fujimi wheels that matches mine pretty well. After I started this kit, I discovered Aoshima's version, which is a whole lot better, and can be built more closely to my 1:1. Paint is Tamiya Mica blue. My first of the new year is this little Fujimi Nissan March. I painted it Tamiya champagne gold with Testors wet look clear. The wheels are also from Fujimi. It was a fun break from more detailed kits. It's really hard to take pics here in the winter. There's either too many shadows, or too much sun.

Great build! I like those Fujimi kits. They're fun to build and go together really well.

11 months?! I've been at it since 1986 and I'm not that good. Awesome builds!

I'd like to see some more foreign cars. I've always like Asian and European cars, but American kit makers rarely offer any. Now that prices have been driven up, Tamiya, Aoshima, Fujimi, etc, aren't too much more costly than domestic companies. Still though, I'd like to see them put out more.

I got 2 unexpected days off from work (the guys I were covering for came back early) and I managed to squeeze one more in. Tamiya Subaru BRZ that I made as close to my 1:1 as I could. I purchased the Aoshima kit to do a correct one. Until then, this will look good in my display case.

Starting tomorrow, I'll be working every single day until New Years, so I doubt anything else will get finished. The Subaru was started when it was reissued. The Grand Prix and Firebird were built entirely in 2021. The Camaro has been worked on sporadically for the last 10 years. Yeah, I got off to a slow start this year.

I had one. Nice car at first, fun to drive (with a 350 in place of the 305) but typical 80s GM quality. Door handles broke, windows stopped sealing, etc. Might get another one if I ever win the lottery. To answer the question... I'd have to say a 70 Barracuda, 383 4 spd.

Those are nice looking cars. Hyundai/Kia has really evolved since they first came here. I looked into buying a K5 GT, but all I could find due to the scamdemic, were GT Lines. Ended up with a BRZ.

I've had bodies slip off the Tamiya stand before. I wrapped wire insulation around the metal where it contacts the car bodies. Helped some, but not enough. Now I just stick a small piece of tape over the metal and onto the inside if the body.

I don't know if the mold still exists, or even if it does, would make enough profit to run. But, it would be a cool body to put on the J2000 pro street chassis.

I really don't buy aftermarket model parts, so I have no idea where to start looking. I'm building a model of my 1:1, but my car has different rims than as supplied in the kit. I ordered the kit from Ebay. I already know that I'm going to have to cut up the RHD dash, but the wheels are the most noticeable difference.
