Pierre, another amazing build from your bench. I hope everyone who hasn't seen the wip go look at it. They will be amazed by the transformation you achieved. At first, I did not care for the yellow but after seeing the photo of the real car and how you duplicated it in such a fine manner, I am really loving the yellow Ferrari. The fine detail you added to the interior and under the hood is also a huge accomplishment, and again, your brushed paint job is better than most sprayed ones you will see in this forum. Thank you for sharing this wonderful build with us mere mortals.

I totally agree with your assessment of the kit and the horrible instruction sheets. I see you powered through all that to an excellent build. I also see that you must have glued the top of the air cleaner in place. I left mine loose so I could get the hood to shut flush. just put it in place to take under hood shots and stored it in the clear case with the watermelon I made to go along with my build of the Chastain Chevy and the Suarez first win Chevy as well. I don't plan on building any more next gen cars. It is just too frustrating.

Excellent build. Really like the added detail to the interior and the engine.

Pierre, those small lamps are so finely created and add so much to the overall build. The body paint came out perfect again like all of your other brush paint jobs. It's astounding the results you always get. The front of the model now looks like the subject matter after your changes to it. If you had left it oob, it would not even look like a Ferrari. Make sure you post here when the final presentation is available at the under-glass forum.

The seat assembly is finally done. I just need to do a little touch up and seal everything down with some dullcoat clear. The artist tape belts tend to pull lose from the seat with age if you don't. I can't find any seat belt material that looks 1/25 scale, so I just use the black artist tape. Pictures to come later.

Need to paint the seat frame a very light gray that will be the color of the interior and roll cage. Once I get that done, I can assemble the seat as a one-piece assembly that I can install into the chassis. Then on to the instrument panel.

Thanks, Donato. I hope you are patient. It's going to be a long time before this one is done. I really appreciate you stopping by. It's pretty lonely around here.

Painted the seat and did some adjustments on the roll cage and added a firewall. Ran out of time to take photos.

I believe those are for the 62 Chevy.

Jason, thank you for building this one. I know you will do an excellent job on it. Looking forward to following along on this journey. Hope you can find the decals.

Excellent build and great choice doing the Chastain car over the Elliott car. I only have one Chastain next gen build and would like to build all of his winners, but these kits are way too hard for me to enjoy building. And very expensive too. Too bad you can't get them at hobby lobby for 40 % off. After postage they are really through the roof.

Way to resurrect a bad build into a great one. I hope you did not have to give it back after all that work.

Another very fine and very, very clean build. Thats certainly top shelf stuff right there.

Very fine build. I agree with you about the story about after he wrecked his probably dominate Monte Carlo. Just goes to show, Cale could win in anything.

Like I said, it would have been better if I could have gotten the black smoother but that's about as good as I can do these days. I'm still pretty happy with it and a full shot picture of the model will look better than a close up of the wheels. The airbrush combo worked so well I might be rethinking the way I paint my bodies in the future. Just really hard to find good weather days down here in the summer. The humidity needs to be less than 85% and that's really hard to get here.in the summer.

Finally had good weather on Saturday. 70 degrees, 27% humidity and no wind at all. I broke out my new combo pack of Neo by Iwata small compressor and gravity feed air brush. Found my AlcladII chrome which is already thinned properly for air brush use and sat down and went after it in my backyard. Really turned out great and the airbrush compressor tandem worked flawlessly. the new Revell chrome product would have probably been better, but that stuff is almost impossible to get. At least for me. You have to have a very smooth and glossy black undercoat to make AlcladII work to its best which I probably did not do a good enough job at, but the wheels look more like chrome than silver. I will post them later.

Jason, this is one of your best ever. Super clean work and that blue is vibrant and looks perfect as well as the gold. Both are really hard metallics to shoot and receive this kind of result. You should be super proud of this one as well as all of your other builds.
