  1. I tried Bob but my computer for some reason won't take the upload of the pictures from my cell. Sorry about that.
  2. I'll give it the college try
  3. Thank you. I tried uploading pics before but for some reason when I do try, my computer hasn't been quite cooperative. Sorry about that.
  4. A lady friend and I went to the fleamarket in Salem New Hampshire yesterday and I wound up buying a 1988 Chevy Longbed Promo for only $3.00. It's missing the front wheels and axle but the truck is in mint shape. An unopened pack of Pegasus mags and tires will help solve that. The axles that I'll be using will be thin but once the truck is sitting on all fours, it'll look like it's lowered into the weeds. Taking models like this that are incomplete and fixing them up is what I like doing.
  5. I have a pro built 1960 Ford pickup in my collection of "Crown Jewels" as I like to call them. I tried to upload photos of it and the other vintage models but my computer for some reason doesn't like to cooperate.
  6. Just had the trusty 97 Honda Accord in the shop today for a routine oil change and tire rotation and have a very annoying squeak in the driver's side rear door taken care off. And the bill was quite reasonable. With car running like a champ, a lady friend and I will be heading to a couple of flea markets on Sunday in New Hampshire just to get out for awhile. She likes deals as I do. I scored a couple of plastic "Diamonds In The Rough" at one of the flea markets awhile back and for dirt cheap.
  7. Very nice indeed. I have a 59 Plymouth in my collection of "Crown Jewels"
  8. She's coming together quite nicely. Can't wait to see what it looks like after it's completion.
  9. I got two crank calls one after the other sometime after 3 AM while sleeping.
  10. A big thank you. I'll check it out.
  11. It was a screw bottom model and it came apart with ease and the window unit wasn't glued in.
  12. Yesterday, I got a vintage 1961 Buick Wagon that I got from E Bay in the mail. It's nicely done and slightly hot rodded out. However, the windshield and back window that are one piece were painted over in flat black paint and I wish to remove it without harming both considering the plastic is over 50 years old. Any tips, advice or a line on a product that'll do the job is greatly appreciated. It's something that I haven't done before.
  13. I like the attention to detail especially since it's in 1/43 scale.
  14. I'm with you on that.
  15. I pulled the plug on my cable TV last year from Comcast whom I also get my internet service from. It was costing me $220 a month and I had base cable and Comcast didn't say nothing when I told it that I was laid off from work due to the Covid situation and I had to make a financial decision. Getting rid of the cable more than halved the monthly bill and I'm now only paying $95 a month for the internet and I've been back to work for a year now.
  16. Two things pleased me today, 1) I lost my cell phone last night but I'm having another one overnighted to me via the USPS Express service thanks to my carrier Consumer Cellular. 2) It's Friday and I'm away from my school busing driving job for the weekend. Time to relax.
  17. Thank you for the lead Joe. Much appreciated.
  18. I bought one from E Bay dirt cheap that was a real glue bomb but it had all the parts I needed for a 40 Ford coupe that was made in the early 60s.
  19. Please delete this Mods.
  20. I'm reaching out to any modeler in New England who may have a line on upcoming model car shows in Eastern MA. and Southern New England in 2022. I checked the internet for any information and came up with nothing. It's been 2 years since I attended one due to the Covid outbreak. Thanks.
  21. I checked the internet for such shows and nothing popped up. I'm hoping my fellow modelers in New England would have a line on some upcoming shows as well as the vendors that'll set up shop at them. I haven't been to one since the 2020 Covid lockdown.
  22. I doubt it since demand for the company's aftermarket wheels/tire sets is quite brisks.
  23. I'm not sure if Atlantis has the tooling for the 56 Chevy or not. I for one hope so as well. Sorry it took long to reply.
