  1. Thank you Joe, I should get some.
  2. You guys' refer to sanding cloths and pads....just exactly what product(s) are you referring to?
  3. Thanks, smooth is what I want.
  4. I second the comment Tom about craft paint. We use more expensive model paints and honestly, I get just as good results with craft paint when thinned properly.
  5. I have the Proton trigger airbrush that has #3 tip. I use a few drops of liquitex slow dry but yeah, definately have to keep a q-tip with laquer thinner handy to clean around the tip. Well that definately is black. So the one with the rough finish is over the Mr. Surfacer?
  6. Great lookin Mustang, and yeah anything 400HP+ can be a wild ride.
  7. Well Greg, Very cool and great looking Yenko. I like those brick walls and the ground in the pics. Where did you get those?
  8. Wow, I had no idea it got that hot except in the desert.
  9. You should get quite a few informed comments. You didn't say what the paint is. My first would be that 10 psi is darn low. Seems no primer. Also you need to work on removing mould lines like the one at the C-pillar. Take it away guys.
  10. Beeeee-u-tiful!!!!?
  11. Great looking Willys...that one baaaad lookin' engine?
  12. Great looking GN. I remember test driving a new one at dealership and thought this thing was gonna suck up the gas. Didn't buy it?
  13. That a beauty, love those stripes and the color.
  14. Man you're doing a whole lot of work on this Mark!!
  15. Wow Mike, you really nailed it. Might be the best looking factory stock '66 build I've seen?
  16. Good lookin' '70 Chuck!! Looks great in the color!!
  17. Thanks for your reply Bruce. I have no doubt using Automotive paints will produce great results as the Cobra shows. It's just beautiful. But, I only use acrylics mostly for the easy cleanup not having to use solvents (at least to a minimum). I do appreciate the offer.
  18. And by-the-way, this kit apparently is already available. Saw them on-line and ebay.
  19. Great looking Corsair. Definately one of the coolest looking and baddest WWII fighters. ?
  20. Hmmm, building 2 of the Lindbergs right now. Would suck to buy the kit and it have the ugly bumpers. Anyway, Harts Parts Resin has the bumpers without the guards and with very little touch-up they fit perfectly. But of course you will have to Alclad or Molotow them.
  21. Very nice Brian. That black paint job looks great. If I may ask, what was you paint system. Doing a black paint job soon.
  22. Welcome "neighbor". Like you, re-took up the hobby upon retirement! Model-on!!
  23. Hey Dave, I can always count on you on paint advise buddy. Thanks!
  24. Good job Roberto; looks ready to roll down the asphalt a quarter mile at a time?
  25. Thank you Joe!!
