  1. Welcome, I just recently joined and am amazed at the content. My new first forum to look at everyday.
  2. I once owned an 87 Turbo Coupe, Black with red interior and 4-speed. Was an absolute fun and comfortable car. That turbo 4 was amazing and boy you could sure feel the boost when the turbo kicked in.
  3. Thanks Joe, Wow, the prices. I'll be looking at the auction.
  4. Thanks for getting back to me about my question. I'm gonna try later. I just don't know how to size the picture. I did post one picture and it was huge.
  5. I have searched this site and I can't find the best/proper way to post pictures. Please help me understand how.... Thanks
  6. I did some searching and can't find it available anywhere. BUMMER! I want to build it to replicate my 2002.
  7. Whoa, I've never seen this kit, didn't know a model in that body style was ever made. How recent is that kit?? I NEED ONE!!!!
  8. Cool looking truck. I've never built a pick-up model but the 57 has me interested.
  9. Well they look great. Don't supposed you took a picture of them before you put them on the car huh?
  10. Sharp looking Chevy. I'm looking for headers like those...can you tell me where you got them or what they're from.
  11. Thanks again for the additional suggestions. Good ideas to ponder.
  12. I'm sure more experienced modelers have some other methods but I sometimes use the side edge of a pointed toothpick but after dries (when using acrylic only) to actually scrape the paint off. Also the side of a Q-tip after setting a little. I'll be waiting for some more suggestions with interest.
  13. Some good ideas there "espo". I'm afraid if I bought the 57 Ford kit I couldn't resist building it?
  14. Hi Guy's. Hope I posted this in the right place. I'm new to this. Using the Revell "Black Widow " kit I'm wanting to build a similar car to the picture. Can anyone give me an idea where I can get the type of headers in gthe picture. Also the straight front axle. Any help/ideas will be appreciated. Sorry for the huge picture.
  15. Looks awesome......great pictures too!
  16. WOW!!! I want it..........the real one that is?. I have th 67 kit to build. I remember back in 67 looking at a 67 W-30 at the Olds dealer in New Orleans. It was obviously gonna be a drag car because I remember it was a stripper. It was yellow. Very nice work.
  17. As a huge TA fan, very nice build. I personally owned a 79, 98 and now 02 TA and an 87 Formula.
  18. WOW!! Very impressive build and yep, great color and paint job. What paint??
  19. YEP, a whole lotta chrome on a 57 Bel Air. By the way, my first ever car was a pristine 57 Bel Air 2Dr Hdtp given to me by my Dad. Single 4BblPowerpack V8 White with red interior.
  20. Just a note about the PE "side spear trim". They dont fill the whole area inside the trim; it's why I used BMF. I found several fit issues and the trans mounts that have to be glued to the frame are a bear to install/fit correctly. I also did lots of sanding to get the hood to fit flat and finally gave up and accepted it was the best it was gonna get. Looking great GeeBee. I'm sure you know this, but don't forget to paint the mesh part of the grill gold.
  21. I just signed up to the forum. I'm a senior citizen and resumed my auto modeling a few year ago after retirement. I've been a car nut since I was a kid and have always had some form of performance car. My favorites are Tri5 Chevies and GM muscle cars. Currently own a 2002 TransAm WS6 with 5 speed. I look forward to expanding my modeling knowledge here.
