  7. I don't often post in this thread but I felt pretty good about how this paint job came out. It's Createx gold base and Createx transparent red top coat, Tamiya clear.
  8. Really nice looking little Fiero Michael, great color and great overall work.?
  9. A sincere thank you to all who responded to my thread. This was the second '57 snapper I have built. The detail on the body seems right on but I think some of the crispness of the trim is deteriorating with the older versions of the model. Thanks again!!
  10. Thanks Eric....the wheels I think are from a 68 or 69 Corvette kit that a forum member sent me tho I can't remember who it was. They actually look close to a mid 60's Riviera wheel cover. As I remember they were already on the real car when my Dad bought the car.
  11. Very good looking '56?
  12. Yep, very cool and sharp looking Corvair. Sure like the red?
  13. Thats a great looking truck. Pretty blue and the w/w's give it an interesting look.
  14. Started this '57 snap kit in April thinking a quick and easy build. I was sure wrong!! After a first painting snafu, then week long hospital stay for emergency surgery and just this past week a bout with the dreaded Covid (second time) I was finally able to complete it. Pictures kinda suck with my new phone but heres the story and a very few pictures. This was my dearly departed Dad's third '57 back in the late sixty's. His first was a convertable that he hated because the top hardware rattled too much. He loved the second one and it eventually became my first car. The third and last one was bought around 1965 or 66. This first picture is the car with yours truly getting in it back in the day. The model is the Revell snap kit, painted with Tamiya Acrylic X-1 Black and cleared with Tamiya X-22. Thanks for looking!!
