  1. Thanks for the pics. A lot of great lookers there but to me, and feel free to call me crazy, but I think the most cool car is the Marauder. The Nomad is a beauty for sure.
  2. Oh man thats looks great Mario? Seems odd to see one thats build factory stock.
  3. Good job James, ready for business?
  4. Ha, now thats will be a challenge?
  5. I agree....done a few of them.
  6. Thank you Chaz?
  7. Hey there James...yep, my favorite (well of course?) also. Thanks! Thanks Hector...its a couple of a few of my former cars I have replicated.
  8. Oh yeah, I'm liking the look of that. Big fan of that body style 4-4-2?
  9. Thanks Jeremy? Oh yeah Scott, definately a favorite of mine and thanks?
  10. Very cool Dyno Don early car replica Michael?
  11. Very realistic and great work. Shame it's gonna get beat up going around the track?
  12. Very nice paint and color for it. Sure like the split windows.
  13. Got a very nice look to it Richard?
  14. Yep. Had the from the factory Uniroyal 7:75x15 red line on the front. I actually wanted the rear even higher to depict the rake when I had the airshocks pumped up. Oh, and in '66 when I bought it I remember paying 34 cents a gallon for Amoco Super Premium white gas.
  15. Thanks David☺️
  16. Thank you Michelle☺️
  17. Thanks Charles...oh yeah, had a lot of fun with it on the street and occasional trip down the dragstrip. Thanks my Friend...you know my trials and tribulations with the build but I'm happy? Thanks Eric. Yeah, I have another one to do as as all out dragracer. You are right David. Emothions and quite a few growls as I building it. Thanks and cheers to you. Thank you Greg. It is rewarding and I have done a few other replicas of former cars. Yep, kept it for about 6 years. Was a bear to drive without power steering and no air conditioning in the hot and humid New Orleans area. Thanks Anthony Thank you Jeremy.
  18. Late last year I completed and posted pictures of my replica of very own (but long gone) 1:1 SS I bought new by me as a mere 20 year old. The pictures as seen in the first picture shows it as it looked when I picked it up at the dealership in New Orleans in September 1966. Over the course of the 5 years I owned it I made several modifications as I have tried to replicate in build #2. First I removed the steel wheels and poverty caps and put chrome reverse wheels on the Tiger Paw red-lines (I think during the first week I had it). At some point later on I removed the front chrome wheels and put on the Torque Thrust wheels. On the rear I installed Mickey Thompson L or N60 tires on the chrome reverse wheels. I also installed air shocks on the rear and 90/20 lift shocks on the front. Engine mods were a larger Holly Carb, I think a 750cfm on top the 325hp 396 and a set of headers. Over the carb was a Motion air filter. One other mod was the Hurst Comp Shifter. So here she is after the mods: As always, thanks for looking and I welcome your comments.
  19. Good topic...the first ever clearing I did was with the original Future; a bottle I have had for years. I tried the Tamiya clear and didn't really like the experience. I used Rustoleum Automotive Crystal clear on a few and did like it but it did'nt react too well with some paints. Future is pretty unforgiving and doesn't need thinning to spray it and gives a great shine over flats. Will probably go back to it on my next clearing.
  20. Ya nailed it Buddy. Very nice fit and finish and great color combo??
  21. Well Ken, sure looks good to me. Good job?
  22. Fantastic work Gustavo....wow that paint is beautyful?
  23. That was a very nice looking build Anthony. Man, that hemi looks huge in there?
  24. Well Steve, when you crank it up and it backfires thru the carb you'll know?
