  1. Thank you Carl...hope you're doing well.
  2. My condolences to you and your family.
  3. Beautiful looking '63 Harry. Cool color?
  4. Man, what a cool looking T-bird Claude. Beautiful work as usual from you?
  5. As a big '66 GTO fan you are killing it here. Those mats are a great touch. ?
  6. Well guys', I do admire what I see in most of the WIP threads, sometimes in amazement at what is done...for me tho, I see no point in me documenting and showing every little detail of everything I do. Probably because I really don't think I have any constructive info to contribute. That being said tho, keep them WIP's coming and I'll keep looking?
  7. In all my research, not sure anyone make a specific fenderwell header for the Tri5. I got a small block header set from VCG (Josh shows it out of stock but I emailed him and he had a set) and its a quality piece but I haven't really had a chance to see how they fit. Reliable resin show fenderwell header but for me they are too pricy. Let me (us) know if you find something that works as will I.
  8. All looking great my Friend?
  9. Thanks James. Thank you John. Thanks Douglas. During and after the build I had more of an appreciation of the look of the body. Thank you Larry!
  10. Good looking Super Stocker Michael?
  11. Thank you guys'!!
  12. Looks terrific John!!?
  13. Hi Charles. I emailed Josh like you suggested and yep, he said he had a set of each of the ones I was interested in. Quick reponse to all my emails to him. Thanks for the info!!
  14. Thanks James!! Thanks Mario. I'll have to check out the Revell kit. Thank you David! Yeah, I'm a fan of all the GM big cars in the '60's. Thanks Lee!
  15. Thank you Tim. The wheels are in the kit. I use Cragers on a lot of my builds but thought these looked pretty good. Thanks Chaz. As for the paint, it was the first time I used Tamiya paint. Thank you Chris Thanks Tony, I think I like the '63 better after doing this one?
  16. Thanks for your comments Kevin. The picture you posted is so cool. Of course I showed my wife and she loved it!!
  17. Thanks Jeremy! It's almost a snap together kit and builds quite easily.
  18. Thanks Bob....you know the issues I had. And by the way, thanks again for sending me the red paint I used on it.
  19. Finally got this one done. I was thinking it was gonna be a pretty quick build....but as we sometimes know. at least me, took way longer than it should have. A couple times I about gave up on it but it being a gift from my lovely wife (because she actually likes the '63 Impala) I persisted to get 'er done. Was my first use of Tamiya Gloss Acrylic. First painting had way too many flaws so into the pond it went. Second painting went well and I do really like the gloss the paint produces without clear. So I decided to just polish it out and did not use clear. I'm pretty happy with the results of the painting. I went curbside with it since the 409 in this kit is pretty lame. Wasn't happy that the frame, exhaust, driveshaft and and suspension is all moulded on the chassis. I also used the kit custom wheels which I think look pretty nice. It's a bit of a departure from my usual use of aftermarket or not kit specific wheels. Tires tho are the AMT F/70 front and L/70 rear Redlines. Thanks for looking!!
  20. Thanks, I'll do that.
  21. Exactly what I want but they are sold out. Most like likely what I'm gonna go with. Really like those but I have an issue with Shapeways high shipping plus handling fee and with tax it's hard for me to go with them. Thanks guys' with your input...I do appreciate it.
  22. Two days!!!!??? Would likely take me a month or two. Wow, looks great Mike?
  23. Very cool and nice looking '65 Jim?
