  1. Gave the new spray booth its first test run. Works very well. Little to no fumes in shop, none in the rest of the house.
  2. Thanks Ace. Thats the instruction sheet. Not real clear on alignment for someone not real familiar with trac bar setups. I'll get it sorted out now that I see the other pics and understand how they work.
  3. Thanks everyone.
  4. Thank you for the pics Rob. I knew their function, just wasn't sure on the geometry. Looks like I need to do a little detail painting first though.
  5. I am working on the AMT Baldwin Motion 70 1/2 Camaro, and am having issues getting the trac bars to sit right. I am not that familiar with 1:1 trac bars, is the leading end supposed to touch the leaf spring? Or should there be a gap? Form dry fitting, it appears that the shock needs to be shortened slight for the trac bar to sit level side to side and have the front touching the spring. If I level the trac bar, the front would be dropped down, with a noticeable gap between the front and the spring. Thanks in advance. Oh, and if it matters, this is a circa 1998ish release.
  6. I've had good luck with G S Hypo cement. As fast as CA, clear and I have never had it fog. I use it for exterior chrome trim also (wipers, mirrors and such). Comes in a little tube.
  7. Cleaning out my dads model shelves, I came across a couple pre decorated die-cast NASCAR kits. The CAT Pontiac and the Kelloggs Chevy. I put the Pontiac together last night, quick little build. Not a lot of detail, but the body looks nice. The wheels and tires look pretty good too.
  8. That looks absolutely stunning. Great build. That is a sick looking car for sure.
  9. You answered your own question. She needs correction. At this point the correction is going to be physical. I am NOT advocating abuse at all. Firm, physical correction. E-collars can be a great tool if used properly. Correction straight from "mom" is best however. There is a huge difference in being an animal lover and doing what is best for the dog and society. Some dogs need more correction than others, If she is biting "mom", how long til she bites someone else, possibly a child? "Mom" also has to be dominant. Lead the pup, do not let her lead. Make her wait for commands to do everything like eat, go out the door, get in the car, etc. My dog will stare at his dish forever until I tell him okay." Then he will eat. I own a hunting dog with a very strong prey drive. He is a handful and tests his limits every day. You have to be the alpha dog full time. It is hard work and no one in the family can slack off.
  10. Great build, very clean. I built that same model when I was a teen. It was a lot of work and a lot of detail that will never be seen.
  11. Not the best pic, but my dad's coworker sent me this one. Suburban Milwaukee.
  12. That paint turned out great. Very nice. Would have looked great in gloss, but flat looks outstanding also.
  13. The color combination looks great. Can't wait to see the chrome trim.
  14. Love that stance.
  15. I was in the young model builder's club. I remember the first three models I ever built, a white Ford Mustang with blue stripes, a red, white and blue F-16 and a British biplane. I still have them on a shelf.
  16. Nice and clean, coming from you I expect that. Another one well executed.
  17. That came out sweet. The stance is perfect. Great job on the modifications.
  18. The chrome trim is fantastic. Great build.
  19. Very nice Chevelle.
  20. Looking awesome. I love trebuchet models. They are fun to build and fun to play with. Its quite amazing how far they can hurl a projectile.
  21. That should look sweet. I have always liked pearl white paint jobs.
  22. Looks like it is coming together well. I've got one of these on the shelf, waiting for inspiration.
  23. Nice looking 34. Looks like it would really get up and go.
  24. This truck is gonna look sweet. I like that you tubbed it and the exterior will look "stock." Have you chosen a new color yet? Or will it be black again?
