  1. Very Alloway looking, really neat roadster. Here's a couple I've done over the years. This one from the Revell kit. I couldn't tell you where a lot of the parts came from that are on it, and don't think it had an engine in it. This Big Deuce has looked like this for a solid 10-12 years. One day I'll finish it.
  2. One of my favorite kits when I was a kid, I need to get another. Looking good!
  3. You are a master at flames! I would argue that phaetons belong in the roadster thread.
  4. Great build and I love the color
  5. Almost have too many irons in the fire already but was pretty excited to get this one started. So far I've just cut out the rear wheelwells and narrowed the rear seat. Not going to back half it, just a "mini tub". Inspired by a couple local cars, one is more of a '70's style car while the other is full on street legal racecar. This will be silver with black stripes, another tunnel ram big block, and I'm not sure if the intake will be poking through the hood or if I'll do a scoop. Wheels will also change but I haven't decided on to what yet.
  6. Still a bunch of shaping and other work to do after everything has set up for a while.
  7. Thanks guys!! so far, so good on the paint. Will let it cure a while before I attempt decals and clear.
  8. Starting to remind me of Neal Jennings shop tuck!
  9. A customer at work dropped by in this incredibly clean specimen of an Eldorado
  10. Looking great! My personal favorite Bond car.
  11. I think there was a recent thread here about wishing they made more "base model" kits. Seems it's easier to downgrade a full-option kit than it is to upgrade a base, and I'm all for it! Thanks!
  12. The other is a ‘52 or ‘53 Oldsmobille
  13. Such good looking cars
  14. Early mock up...this is a pretty old abandoned Niekamp roadster project. The frame/belly pan might work for the new direction. Wheels just came in from the pink plastic Lindberg ‘40 Ford. Front wheel has been narrowed.
  15. I like your style Dave. Nice work.
  16. Gorgeous colors
  17. Well now I want to do a Truxarossa build too ?
  18. That is a great color
  19. Was on a roll today. Chassis will get just a little weathering later, and the engine will get some detail painting. Holding off on the carb and air cleaner because I don’t want to use the kit stuff but need to make sure it will clear the hood.
  20. Looks great, the louver work is excellent.
