I’ve had this kit in the stash for almost a year! I threw the suspension together with the custom wheels from the Amt 62 thunderbird and I like the mock-up so much that I decided to build it. I’ll let the pics do the rest of the talking

So I started out with the trans from the chev engine, cut it free from the bell housing, and trimmed the tail shaft off. So it has some of the basic shape as the Lasalle but it’s not close enough. So let’s cut off that shifter tower. A little help from my Stone Age CAD. And we get the rough shape of the bottom cover. Add the tail shaft housing from the flathead trans and is starting to take shape.

Some hacking and slashing from the parts bins has brought this to light, 36 cowl and doors, 37 fenders and rear body, 39 roof section. it needs a lot of smoothing and refinement but I think it will be one worth going further with. -
