I love finding and fixing up these old Amt deuces, got a nice little collection of them now, and lucky for Chris lots and lots of good spare parts.

Thank you, if I could have a 1:1 car this would be the one I’d build. -

Thank you Alan, I got the grille from a wrecked glue buggered build. I’ve been keeping it for a special build and now it gets to have some fanfare. The finish line is in sight. -

Those changes make a huge difference, I was not aware that the roof height was even an issue with the body. -

Thank you gentlemen, I’m currently planning another period hot rod

I will have to revisit this build at some point to finish the detailing of the scripting and the stars on the b pillar. Both are to be done by hand ?

Misha I'm old school, the masking while tedious was worth it in the end, Tamiya for the win on that product. I used the molotow heavy marker and smoothed the larger areas with a brush. the body and base colour for the interior were done with Tamiya rattle cans, i'm way to cheap to get an airbrush. The tape take patience, a lot of patience.

Thank you sir Thank you, I enjoyed this build Immensley.

Finished this “slump buster” build today. About 3 days work but stretched over three weeks. This has to be the most detailed kit I have built to day and I highly recommend it to anyone.

A small update, frame is mounted to the floor pan, interior is complete. And engine bay is just about finished, working on getting the body attached once the clears dry to the Pilar’s. The Falcon restore in the foreground was my squirrel this week lol.

Closed in the horribly butchered hood for this 67 Falcon that I’m semi restoring/updating, the goofy looking intake was missing the carbs, so I decided to wedge a cammer 427 in. Purists may hate me, but this looks so much better without the ridiculous gasser rake. The paint is not the greatest and I’m torn on keeping it, but the decals are its only saving grace atm.
