  1. What they said ^
  2. @Kit Karson man that is really starting to take shape!
  3. This is sick!! Those wheels are perfect.
  4. Having built a converted 3 window (used the revell snapper) a decent 5 window sedan, I have a rebuilder tudor that i will attempt to correct with hopefully a section of the roof from the 5 window to correct the roof. The 33-34 body is my absoloute favourite body style, I'd love to see a reissue or even a new issue of the kit. Was there ever a roadster version of the kit?
  5. Is it just me or Is the blower hovering? And you had me at Ardun?
  6. Small hijack, this is one of the two survivors I’m trying to get back to their og builders vision. I have a third that was unpainted but kinda heavy in the glue bomb realm that I will be adding my touches to, I’ll start my own thread for that when the time comes. /hijack
  7. Have loved this concept since you showed me the first mockup, keep Your foot in it and pedal it over the line.
  8. I wish it was that easy, summer is my busy season at work.
  9. Following this build intently!
  10. Pair of Moebius 1970 fords I’m working on, the 4x4 will get a taller set of tires
  11. Roger what is the source for the wheels on the firebird?
  12. And it has Marvin on it to boot lol, I have never laid eyes on that body before. Sweet find Bill
  13. Moebius 1970 ford on revell foose chassis
  14. Thank you, it’s fun to be making some headway with this again
  15. Some work on the engine today, having to clean up the resin and drill and pin all the parts does slow the process down.
  16. Thank you mike, I’ll look into the old fishing line.
  17. Wow real nice work Jim, where did you source the materiel for the seats?
  18. An update finally! Took some time on my keyster instead of off of it lol. Threw some putty on the trans finally to get it closer to my approximation of a Lasalle. It’s rough, really rough but it will work for what I intend. Got some rough filing and shaping done and finished with a brush coat of Tamiya primer to match the engine block. Once it all cures I could not resist a mock-up in the frame. Now that all that prelim work is done I can go back to finishing boxing the frame rails and possibly get the final ride height setup. I’ll be picking away at the engine as well, I’m still looking for a suitable candidate for plug wires, the kit ones are ok but I’d like to find a cloth braided type substitute.
  19. Glad that old junk made it to you safe and sound! I’m still working on headers for my project. The fun of working with vintage survivors and missing parts lol.
  20. I’m liking all the add on 3D parts.
  21. Wanted a tonneau cover for a Salt flat project in my head, the amt one is difficult to find. I have one in the mail somewhere between eastern US and Western Canada. So out came the elementary school skills and I whipped up some papier-mâché. Pleased with the results just need to add some paint detail and it will be ready.
  22. Some extra “loose” parts from some auction wins, decided to make a junkyard hotrod. Looked good enough at the end I decided to put in the display case, not in the box of shame!
  23. I think I’ll borrow your roll bar idea for one of my 5 window restore/saves.
  24. Thanks, I didn’t know about the Tudor kit, as for the uptops, I’ve got a dozen or more now. I am attempting to get one full kit of unbuilt parts lol, looks like I’m getting close to a full 5 window kit in parts.
