  1. Thanks. I learned from a YouTube video about using the windshield washer fluid. Its cheap, I've never tried anything else.

  11. Thanks James! I did not wire the kit distributor, I buy them already wired. I once wired a 1/16 scale and that was hard, I cant imagine trying a 1/25 scale. Are you a guitar player?

  14. There are some really nice builds of this kit happening now, they both are looking great I got this kit for my birthday from my wife and am pretty excited about it. Although a basic kit, I am having fun with it. I usually start by doing the body, but thought I’d switch it up this time and started with the engine. I am going to use as much craft paint on this as I can Here is the paint I am using for the body color I mix it about 50/50 with windshield washer fluid. Here is an idea of the color on the floorboard and firewall Looking at the engine, I really wanted to do something different from how I would normally approach it. After experimenting on some scrap chrome I decided to darken the chrome and give it a purplish hue. I think it turned out OK After looking at it, I think yellow wires would have looked better I am slowly getting the chassis together I darkened the chrome on the wheel edges and centers to match the engine Thanks for looking! Any comments are welcome.
  15. WOW. Really nice work. I am looking forward to your progress
  16. Cool Car! I had a '65 F-85 with those same HD floor mats. My 65 has louvered hood scoops from an 87 IROC. I truly miss that car. Cant wait to see what you build!
