  1. Sublime!
  2. Perfection all the way around.
  3. Perfection! Especially like the interior.
  4. Hey gents, thanks for all the encouraging comments. I'm already thinking to start another one. I'm a glutton for punishment.
  5. Just finished this Mobius kt of the 1961 Catalina. Can see in the In Progress section too.
  6. Lots of tolerance issues with parts fit in this kit. Finished up some minor trim stuff and calling it done. Will post in Under Glass.
  7. It took a lot of cutting and filing, but finally got the front grill/bumper to fit reasonably well. Not perfect though.
  8. Thanks for the tip on the grill. I tried sanding a windshield on another ki, but ended up causing a Crack, so I'll leave as is.
  9. Very nice job. I can't wait to see the finished car.
  10. One of the door handles mysteriously disappeared from my workbench overnight. I suspect the cat ๐Ÿˆ I fabricated one from the triple carb gas line assembly that Was not used. Looks ok, I guess.
  11. After much consternation, a whole lot of shaking and a little swearing, I foiled the window chrome trim. As you can see below, the windshield on this kit does not fit quite right, but leaving as-is because I am not adept at reshaping the plastic.
  12. After much consternation, a whole lot of shaking and a little swearing, I foiled the window chrome trim.
  13. A little more progress If you are building this kit, beware of the sequence of directions. Fo example, put the muffler pipes on before putting on the frame. I did not and had difficulty installing the pipes beneath the frame. Also, the wheels that use the beauty rings and moons do not work. So I went with the cragerlike custom wheels.
  14. They were clear with the dot pattern, but shading was not evident until I put them on.
  15. Yes and surprisingly goes with my interior color scheme.
