Thank you sir. I saw them on the AW sight, and thought the Admiral might be an interesting subject, something different. -

No sir, thank YOU ,for sharing. I didn't see any flaws or defects in the finish of this model, but I'm sure you could point some , something, out that you're not satisfied with.. Thanks again for posting -
Thank you for sharing. Perfection? ah, NO ! Should be a Ford in a Ford. A Y block would be perfect. hmmm, guess I'll just have to build one for myself. But other than the SBC engine, pretty dern close to it.

Seeing these brings back memories ,two of my older brothers built models, (got me started) some as box art, and others like the cars they saw and read about in the auto mags. Thank you. You may have helped me break out of this current bout of builders block. I love the twins

I'll be trying to keep up with this build. That JH 70 Olds is on my wish list .

After a closer look,, ,your builds look better than the box art. I gotta go,,,, there will be a run on these !

OHHHH the things you could do with the parts on those babies, oh yeah, shop diorama, imagine,,,a bathtub FUEL altered ! I'm sorry, I can't help it. I remember as a lil' kid, seeing one of those,, I remember being blinded by the BRASSS! IT WAS AWESOME ! Thanks for the trip back to the 70s. I gotta get one of those, or both. I think u might be on to something with the straight out of the box not even paint,,,,theme. thank you.

We don't see these very often, where did you get them ?

I do buy kits for parts ,and I do have a lot of parts kits in my stash ,but they're labeled as such. The thing is, when you're trying to turn a poor kit that has a well rendered body into that silk purse,,,,,. I'm trying to justify my addiction here, the truth is ,it doesn't matter how well a kit is done from the factory, I find some reason to swap out parts. I've used seven AMT 1960 starliner kits for my BIG fords shelf, but only one is a stock 60. Come to think of it, it IS box stock,,,,,a ray hope,, hope for the helpless,or help for the hopeless.

traction bars on a mopar prevent leaf spring warp ,or wrap, that causes wheel hop/loss of traction when the spring recoils. When I was a kid, the cops would close a section of east river rd in rochester so the guys and their musclecars could race. One of the the cars was a red 67 gtx . the guy would nose his car up to the river wall and preload the springs, and adjust the stops on the "slapper"bars. the only car I Ever saw take that gtx was a 454 chevelle.
