Perhaps some don't realize that these threads have TWO ways to reply? Each post has its own "Reply" button. Or, go all the way down to the bottom of the threads, and there is a "Add reply" button. The first way recycles the entire content of the post in your reply. The second way, is just your reply. No recycled photos or text included. FWIW

Another thing I like to do is use the side of the felt tip of a Sharpie marker to edge a headlight lens (before assembly). I think it gives depth to the look.

I don't have enough spare headlights. I wish we could get someone in the aftermarket to clear cast a bunch of headlights. I tried finding photos that I could trim, size, and print. Still need to work on this. The idea would be to cut them out (first cover with shiny Scotch Magic Tape) and glue in place. Funny cars have "printed" headlights, and look convincing. The item below has some hope for headlight, the trim ring is "okay". And of course, MV lenses.

Finish exterior bodywork, apply first prime coat. If there is a headliner, mask exterior; spray headliner in flat color. Wet-sand and prime exterior final coats after first masking inside body. Prep & spray all exterior. Once fully cured, use medium size brush to paint inside body flat black. The idea is to "hide" things like inner fenders, you don't want the eyes drawn to these areas. On a Nascar body, spray the inside Gloss Gull Grey, when cured, prep, prime, and spray exterior.

Testors Chrome paint. Try first touching a spot of Gloss Black, and then when cured to the touch, use the Chrome. Some say the black makes the chrome effect better. As an example, the black before chrome layer is a must with Alclad Chrome; if it's good for Alclad, it should be good for touchup.

Isn't that the truth?! Some fool has an "old toy" that looks like it spent the last decade rattling around inside a box of sandpaper, and thinks they can get a fortune for it! If I had a dime for every time this happened!

I want to thank whoever gave us the heads-up earlier in the month on the Dupli-Color sale at Advance Auto Parts. I stopped in yesterday, it's "buy one, get one free" on their 12 oz. full size cans of Primer. I bought a Hot Rod Gray, and a White. I may stop back to get some Red Oxide... the sale ends at the end of the month.

When I saw this pic, I thought the left front wheel/tire was sheared off! That tire is some camo'd!
