  1. Wow! You found Heaven's side yard! My fav would be the Ford Fodor, the second pic down. Anyone know what year and name it is?
  2. I have gone to Kinko's (now under new ownership, under a new name) with my artwork and decal film. Employee always gets nervous about inserting something "foreign" into their copier. I explain that I have done this successfully several times before. Always works out OK. I also tell them to use their best copier at the highest resolution. Also have them make a plain paper copy first so the film isn't wasted.
  3. Harold! I'll trade ya for my 100 acres of pristine open land, just 300 miles east of Cape Cod!
  4. At least $400 of that is for the "SOME DENTING TO THE BOX"
  5. Maybe Jesse can recycle that last one into a mobile divorce court?
  6. WA-HOO! It was in the mailbox today!
  7. As a subscriber, I hope mine shows up soon. Knowing my luck, it slid under the mail truck's drivers seat
  8. Great project! I know many here don't approve of using vinyl for graphics, but as I look at the b&w pic, it occurs to me that if I couldn't get a decal made of the number, I would make a cardboard template, and cut it out of vinyl. I have several colors, all from Hobbytown, and is available in sheets about 6" x 36". After it is applied, run an extra fine Sharpie black marker around the edge of the vinyl... practice on a scrap piece first. The vinyl is not as thick as would be expected. Just a thought.
  9. Wow! Jaws On The Ground! Some fantastic classic, vintage, and race cars! I've never seen a Petty Enterprise collection that big. And that Norman Timbs Special is one of the sleekest rolling sculptures I have ever seen! This show had something for most everyone. Thanks for sharing.
  10. I'm with George on this one... although there is a kit available, I think it is REAL.
  11. Here is the pre-painted one... I just finished this a month ago. I didn't care for the wheels, so I did a black wash on them (The Detailer).
  12. I would just add that an acrylic (water base) wash is nice. Once I used Model Master flat black as a wash on a chrome grille, and when I wiped off the excess from the high spots, the solvents loosened up the chrome. Bummer!
  13. Well I guess a 1926 it is! Thanks for box art pic... what a 70's flashback box art design!
  14. Hey, that looks good! How was the Krylon spray out of the can? My experience is it sprays too heavy, I was wondering what opinions others have had? Orange looks good on the VW bus
  15. Nice Chaparral 2E, be sure to post more pics when it is finished!
  16. WOW! Big time improvement!
  17. That's Lightning McQueen when he's 95.
  18. What's up with the bunny headlights? Sorry! Photo deleted in Fotki As seen at the NY Auto Show Sorry! Photo deleted in Fotki I started thinking about this when I see the new Subaru (Legacy?) going by... Have a great Easter!
  19. Neat looking show rod! I'm wondering if it is based on something older than a 1926 model year? Wouldn't happen to have a pic of the box art by any chance?
  20. You mean they assume someone actually watched the movie?
  21. I'm looking forward to mine showing up in the mailbox!
  22. Someone should call Stephen King!
  23. Way nice!
  24. I say real... but then again, I got it wrong last week.
