  1. Like Mike says, it don't take much for the part to run away from home. Another challenge is holding on to that tiny part! You could use tweezers, but I have seen them "snap", or the part shoots off the tweezer into carpet never-never land. Try a "Super Sticky" Post-It.
  2. Hey Will... This subject comes up every now and again. I friend once told me how he told his lady "I don't smoke no more. I don't drink no more. I don't do drugs no more. With all the money I'm savin' us, this hobby is a bargain!" Me? I just leave it out in the car until she goes to bed!
  3. Maybe some people need to watch someone do the door trimming. I wonder if there is anything on YouTube? I don't recall, even though I sometimes feel like I have seen the entire internet like three times now!
  4. Here is what I need to replicate...
  5. Quite a popular conversion when they were plentiful! Same idea, just going in a different direction...
  6. How to display your die-cast!
  7. I want to start a beat car, and it would have completely shot seats. The fabric is gone in some spots, with metal coils showing. I mean at least 75% of the seat is metal framework. How would I do that? Thanks.
  8. Now that is interesting! I would like to know what kit, if any, was used to source that frame? Great design.
  9. BTW, how much longer before you end up on "Dancing With The Stars?"
  10. Congrats, Gregg! Perhaps if more clubs took a proactive approach to media coverage of the hobby, we may just get more public awareness and in turn more memberships (read: $$$) So how about it folks?
  11. Well you have to follow the instructions. I can see by what you posted that you (apparently) didn't type in the bracketed URL's each end as I showed. Brackets are these symbols [ ] In those brackets, on the left you type... img On the right you type... /img In between them, you PASTE the URL you copied before by RIGHT CLICKING on url you found by opening the "SHARE IMAGE" box. Also, never leave any blank spaces from the first bracket, through the url, to the very last bracket! NO BLANK SPACES! So it looks like this... You posted this... [photo id=swdgddfqwtrdrsfxbwqqgrksrwgk type=vi style=1 align=no link=photo] You will know you have the correct URL if it starts with... http, and ends with... jpg I know it is difficult when you are new to it. Hang in there, with practice you will get it. Mmmm... room is spinning... time for bed... must leave now...
  12. Check out this link... http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=27819&st=0&p=266221&hl=Fotki&fromsearch=1&#entry266221 Scroll down until you find this... That link should be pinned.
  13. Nice DB5! I was aware of the model, but not of the figures. You did a fantastic job!
  14. We need more crazy stuff like this! How they mow lawns at F1 venues...
  15. ARTISTIC LICENSE!
  16. You have to love poorly created auction ads! Who knew that there was a Barracuda Fanny Car?
  17. What came to mind when I read the question is this... I have been wanting to build it for years! Soon, I hope.
  18. Thin clear plastic is everywhere in our lives. Product packaging is a good example. One idea is to buy a box with pre-printed cards (invitations, thank you's, etc) as they usually have a clear cover. Otherwise, any good hobby shop sells sheet stock plastic... just ask at the counter. Happy hunting!
  19. Sick!
  20. Nice work man! What I first noticed... you blacked out the edges of the window BMF to show the rubber gasket that would hold the window in. It's that attention to detail that really works! Two thumbs up!
  21. Turn that dune buggy over. Is there a brand name on the chassis? Motor Max? Welly? Jada? BTW, this kit will be on store shelves later this year...
  22. That will soon be available in every Chrysler dealership... ...assuming, of course, there IS a Chrysler dealership in the near future.
