Like always, I can't decide on a color. I was looking over the paint I had on hand and when your not sure black will work in a pinch. I'll let this set for a few days then throw some 2K Urethane clear on it.

Well fellows...I was planning on airbrushing the Seamist green on this morning but unfortunately the masking didn't go well. I first tried regular masking tape, then Tamiya's masking tape, then bmf. I could not get the trim around the headlights and taillights like I wanted. After peeling off the tape from each attempt I managed to mess up the white. I've never had much luck with a two tone paint job. I should have painted it all one color. So, I've lost my patience on this one and it's going back in the box and to the back of the bench for now.

Nice looking build Scott. Great color choice. That 331 engine looks pretty sweet setting in there. I built the AMT kit but not the Revell yet.

Your 69 Caddy turned out pretty nice Rich. The green looks nice and so does the white top. The white wall tires give it that extra pop.

I got to the point of trial fitting the bright work only to find out one of the hood side emblems is a short shot from the molding stage. I'm on the hunt for the left hood side emblem P5.

I took about a week off from being at the bench so I could do some touch up paint work on my 1:1 49 Chevy Pickup. I did manage to get the 57 Ranch Wagon to the spray booth this morning and get the Splash Paints Dover White on the body. Can't really tell much as it kinda looks like the white primer that was already laid down. I'll let this set for a few days then mask off the white so I can spray the Seamist Green.
