Your very welcome. Thanks for checking out my youtube channel.

Very creative idea. I'm liking it. It's going to be a Looker.

Thanks Steve. Well...after the failed attempt with the flat Aluminum I shot it with the Tamiya Silver Leaf and then shot a Matte clear over that and didn't like the looks. I ended up shooting some Tamiya Gloss Aluminum over that and I'm going with it. Just need to figure out what color on the lug nuts.

I decided to let the wheels set for now so I can do a little brain storming on what to do. I did get the engine painted and wired. Still needs some touch up but pretty much done. I did a mock-up to make sure the plug wires would clear. Can you guess what the body color is going to be???

Thanks Graham. I appreciate all the info. I'll get something worked out.
-
Well...I mounted the tires on the wheels and I'm just not sure on the color of the wheels. I'm having one heck of a time getting a color that I like.
-
Thank's Roger. I'm still not 100% sure on the color.
-
Hey Larry, if you don't mind....what color did you paint the blower? I think that looks pretty kewl. Thanks man.

Nice looking 65 Vette David. Great color and the seats look like real leather. Great build.
-
That's looking pretty sharp there Ron. That interior color really looks nice with the green. Coming along nicely.

Killer looking 36 Coupe John. Love that Blue.
-
Much appreciated Robert.

I thought before I strip the paint I'd shoot them with some Tamiya Silver Leaf. I think I like how they look now so I'm good to go on the wheels & tires.
-
I'm with ya man. The wheels & tires do make a model. Thanks Ken. Yeah, both 36 Coupes look nice together.
-
I got the wheels sanded down and cleaned up. I primed the wheels with Tamiya White surface primer then shot the Tamiya XF-16 Flat Aluminum over that. I don't like what I'm seeing. Looks a little grainy and I don't like the color. I'm gong to hit it with a Matte Clear and see if that will help out. If not, I strip the paint and start over.

That's a really nice looking VW Bus you got there Stuart. Nicely detailed and a Great looking paint job. -
Thank's Tony. Yeah, the doors look pretty good in place. I think I may sand the door hinges down just a little. Better grab that one that's in your ebay list.

Those white walls look good against the blue. Nice looking little Hot Rod John.

Got looking Hot Rod James. That nerf bar will show up when you least expect it.

More clean-up today. I did a trail fit (There will be many, many trail fits) of the doors with the door panel in place and looking from the front without the hood on the hinge area looks pretty bad. With the hood on it covers all the ugly. If you have built this kit, did you do anything with this area? The two piece front wheels where way to wide so a lot of sanding had to take place to get the front and rear pieces to fit close to the tires. Also, I got the front and rear suspension cleaned up.
