Thank's Roger. I'm just not sure this one is going to turn out like I wanted.

I got the body filled in where the hood tabs fit into. I don't think I'm going to putty these two areas as it would be hard to sand it down flat due to the area it's in. I also worked on installing spark plug boots into the valve covers. I use telephone wire I buy at the hardware store and strip the insulation off. I cut the insulation in short lengths and glued into the valve covers. After the glue sets up I'll try and install the spark plug wires. The wire in the insulation is already a tight fit so well see what happens. I've never done it this way before. The left over wire is good for fuel lines, brake lines, etc.

I'm liking this 36 Modified. Nice build.

I'm really diggin this ole 50 Chevy Winery truck. These ole AD trucks were work horses. Nicely done man.

Pretty kewl pics Daniel. I built the AMT Hot Wheels Monster Truck some time back and modified it. I also fitted it with a 66 Chevy pickup body. This gets me to thinking about building another.

I cut the nubs off the hood and put some filler pieces in the body. Once dry I'll clean it up and put some putty in and smooth it all out.

Well, I was doing a finial clean up on the body this morning in preparation for painting later this week and noticed that the front fenders have started to warp inwards. The radiator support across the front is supposed to be straight. The hood no longer fits so I'll have to leave it off. Man....this build is slowly going down hill. Final coat of primer is on.
