  1. Thanks Dave. Yeah, it's been a fun build but like the old saying goes, all good things must come to an end.
  2. Thanks Carl. Since mine is more of a Street Rod I think it needs a little bit nicer bed.
  3. Nice collection of Chevy's. Love the old fat fender cars.
  4. Nice and clean looking old school Hot Rod. The detailing looks fantastic. Great looking bowtie.
  5. Pretty slick looking ride. Nicely done.
  6. Welcome aboard neighbor.
  7. Good looking Gasser. Love the ole Henry J.
  8. Good looking project on the 49.
  9. The heat wave has left but with the rain now the humidity is terrible. I did manage to get a little work done and do a little mock up to make sure that things are still fitting right. I'm getting close to finishing this one.
  10. I guess I could Carl. Just not much into buying after market parts. FolkArt Acrylic paint has a Barn Wood color that looks interesting.
  11. I came across this website a while back and couldn't believe the prices of these metal engine. These metal engine are cheaper than a resin engine with all the accessories. Anyone bought one of these engines that could tell us about the quality? https://scalereprosplus.com
  12. We've been in a Heat wave the past few days and its just to hot to be out in the garage working on any models. Looks like rain all next week which is bringing the temp down in the mid 80's so I'll be back at it tomorrow. I need to figure out what I'm going to do with the wood in the bed.
  13. That's odd. I've tried it twice Carl and it worked both times. Guess I got lucky.
  14. Good looking 62 Impala. Love the color and the weathering under the hood looks spot on. Nice job.
  15. Two parts paint & one part thinner.
  16. Nice looking Falcon. That car back in the day would have kicked butt with a 260 in the business end.
  17. Good looking little grocery getter. The two tone looks great. Nice build.
  18. Goog looking old school 55 and a bit of a sleeper. Nice job.
  19. James, The little grocery getting is coming along Buddy.
  20. Any time I need to remove the chrome to paint, I just grab some of the wifes bleach off the washer. Strips it clean in a couple hrs.
  21. I used pill bottles on my first attempt at turning a 56 Ford pickup into a Pro Street. The AMT 67 Chevelle Pro Street and AMT 66 Nova Pro Street chassis are used a lot under various kits. I used the 67 Chevelle chassis under the AMT 55 Chevy to Pro Street it. More than one way to skin a cat. I'm still learning myself.
  22. Thanks Dave. I'm nearing the end on this build.
