  1. I've been under the weather for the past week so haven't done much as far as bench time. I felt good enough today to get a little paint on the 32 Coupe. Paint is Tamiya X-1 Acrylic Gloss Black thinned with Mr. Color leveling Thinner 2-1. I was really Leary about painting black but I think it came out ok. I'll let this cure for a couple days then wet sand it then shot the Tamiya X-22 Clear over it. After that it will get wet sanded again and polished it out.
  2. Welcome to the playground Rob.
  3. That's a pretty good looking Metro.
  4. Very kewl looking 32. Love those bomber seats. Great color choice and setup.
  5. That white & gold will look pretty kewl. hope all goes well with your better halfs knee replacement.
  6. I contacted Moebius on August 8th about replacement parts. A fellow by the name of Erik Solie took my mailing address and said it's going to take some time unfortunately. On Sept. 10th I reached out to Erik Solie once again for an update. I was told that it is stil going to be about 5 more weeks. So, by the time Moebius picks up their shipment from the dock, get it back to their facility, and get replacement parts packed up for shipment to all of us waiting.....I'm hoping by early or mid Novemeber.
  7. Yeah Buddy. That's a nice kit. That's the same kit I built a Pro Street out of. Got a color in mind? Sounds like you might have a big project going on to take a few months away from the bench.
  8. Good looking Nova James. Came out really nice. Another one in the books.
  9. Great looking Chevelle. Nice detail work on the business end and on the undercarriage. The decals really stand out against the red body color.
  10. Nice looking Chevy. That Pearl Yellow really stands out nicely. I like the stance. Nice job.

  15. Nice looking pair of 34 Ford pickups.
  16. âıPretty kewl looking 37 Panel.
  17. Thanks for the info Dave. Looks like I need to do a little research on some primer for my airbrush.
  18. That is just bodacious looking man.
  19. At a boys James. I knew you would figure it out.
  20. Good point Pete ?
  21. I hope you get it figured out Buddy. Let us know what you find out tomorrow.
  22. Guys I have an update on painting with my spray booth in my garage. I have the dual fan spray booth and it's working fine if I use my airbrush. I am still using Tamiya rattle cans for my primer and I've been spraying that outside. The last two models I build I sprayed the primer in my spray booth. Big mistake on my part. The rattle cans spray out a ton more paint vs my airbrush. I have over spray on my 1:1 49 Chevy Restomod. I can get it off the paint with a clay bar but no more using rattle cans in the spray booth. Word to the wise.
  23. Have you tried the metal cup instead of the bottle?
  24. The Paasche H is a simple single action airbrush and has now got me scratching my head James. I do remember when I first got my Paasche H I was using the bottles and the paint would stop coming out due to the small hole on top of the bottle continually clogging up. I use the metal cup now and have not had a problem.
  25. I see the 3 rings around the cone. Any chance you have a bigger needle inside that 3.0mm cone? Just checking all Avenues.
