That's a good looking Gasser. Nicely done.

I would give a Paasche H distributor a call or give a call to the place you bought it from. Could help.

James. Makesure your paint is not to thick. I found this online. Maybe it will help AIRBRUSH DOESN’T SPRAY PAINT This can be caused by many things; the most common are a blocked nozzle (due to poor cleaning), a loose needle chucking nut, improper/low air pressure and the paint being too thick Blocked Nozzle – Clean or soak the nozzle Needle not Moving with Trigger Action – Check and tighten the needle chucking/locking nut. Paint Too Thick – Thin paint with appropriate reducer to a milky consistency Pressure Too Low – Sometimes the paint can be slightly too thick and the pressure is too low to atomize. Increase pressure.

That 59 Impala top gives it the appearance of a chopped top and looks pretty kewl. That's a lot of realstate to paint. Looking good.

Nice. Love the car but hate the two tone color on the box art.

1950 Ford F1 Truck Mild Hotrod
Zippi replied to Olskoolrodder's topic in Model Trucks: Pickups, Vans, SUVs, Light Commercial
All the models look Great but I gotta go with the Blue 50 pickup because blue is my favorite color. I've been wanting this kit for some time. -

NOT YOUR PUMPKIN CHARLY BROWN
Zippi replied to cheyenne93's topic in WIP: Model Trucks: Pickups, Vans, SUVs, Light Commercial
The pumkin is looking pretty kewl and I love that 572 shoehorned in the business end. How about a shiny Gun Metal for all the chrome. -
Thanks Dave. Yeah, keeping all parts from kits is a good thing. ?

It's an older kit James. I got it off fleabay.

I'm curious about this as others are. Since youv'e got another airbrush now, take the Paasche H totally apart and let it set in lacquer thinner for a few day and see what happens. These are very simple airbrushes and it's got me stumped as well.

Well Dave...I'd say the 45 years away from the hobby did you no harm. Great looking models.

I've never used Alclad but I'd like to try it. Where are you guys buying yours?

Thanks man. Tamiya paints always go down smooth for me.

I stopped at the local hobby shop today and I was told Moebius is coming out with a 64 Chevy II Restomod. Anybody have any more info on when this might be released?

We had a record breaking heat wave today. It's 97° but the humidity is only 35% so I thought I'd better get some primer on the 32. This time I went with the Tamiya Fine Surface Primer Gray instead of white. It layed down smooth like always. This time I'm going to let it cure out for a couple day then wet sand it before I paint the gloss black top coat on.

Thanks Craig. I'm starting to second guess myself on painting black but I'm going to hold firm. Yup.....lot of options for an engine. I have the kit engine, a 312 Y block, a 572 BB, or I could mix and match.
